😂 love that none of us got round to checking the gas in the daylight 😂
Candlelit yoga done, in front of the Christmas tree today (i confess I preferred the other room but the fairy lights are nice!) Friends are coming for lunch so some tidying and preparing to do, then I MUST tackle an OAT I've been putting off for a while.2 -
Today's jewellery is a simple small star ring, and another lumberjack shirt.
Was feeling overwhelmed and un-Christmassy so added audaciously ostentatious gold dangly earrings, feeling much better now4 -
I wore my new necklace to my 44th class of the year today. It was so cold that I had to go to a charity shop and buy a coat on the way there! I have booked three classes for 2026 so far, but I don't intend to do as many as I did this year.
Today I bumped into a local artist I met recently and asked him if he would be interested in doing a pet portrait of my dog as she will be 15 years old next year. I am going to email him her picture in a minute.
I have to book tickets for the cinema as I'm meeting a couple of people in London next week. We are going to see The Housemaid as I read the books.
Since finishing the 21 day meditation challenge I haven't been doing it on my own even though I got a new meditation app on my phone. I'm going to start it again tomorrow morning as I was enjoying that.
I just got a grocery delivery and everything is ready for Christmas day and Boxing day as it is just the two of us and my dog. I have even prepped the veg ready in the freezer. I have been in a extremely organised mood this year in general.

Finished work early! 🤩🎉
Popped into morreesons to buy Mr KK a trout … (it was heaving!) he doesn’t know about this and was sadly compromising on a piece of salmon for Christmas Eve 😉 Hoping to keep this a secret until he turns up to his plate! 😊🤩
Meanwhile, I treated myself to a macaroni cheese (so very bored of soup for lunch! 😂) and a bouquet of lillies. I love the smell of lillies at Christmas 😊 And for those worried about Chloe, they are at the back of the sideboard, which is rammed with ‘stuff’ (various edibles!) and so Madame won’t get near them … 😊

@daisy_1571 this is the year when I will finally watch this film. I took my 4 year old daughter to see it at the cinema when it first came out - she was absolutely petrified after about 5 minutes so we had to leave the cinema, I'm going to text her and suggest she watches it with her kids.daisy_1571 said:Watching muppet xmas carol film

5 gold rings -
I'm feeling sad but happy today as I've got round to sorting out something my mum asked me to do. She was immensely happy to have 5 rings which meant she could bequeath one to each of her granddaughters. The rings are not massively valuable from a monetary point of view but they are precious from a sentimental point of view. I haven't done it before now because 3 of the rings need to travel thousands of miles and now I have a trusted person who can hand deliver them so I know they will arrive safely. I've wrapped each one and written a note to each recipient. I've tried to write in my mum's voice and say the things she thought of each of these lovely young ladies. I had to stop frequently for a good sniff and eye wiping but I am pleased with what I've done. Further sniffing and eye wiping required after writing this.
this thread promoted me to tackle this and though sad will ultimately make 5 people plus me very happy.

Wearing a Xmas jumper today.
Present shopping now all finished - but I have maybe 6 things to wrap and all cards to my household to write. 1 present still to arrive tomorrow 🤞🤞 for DH from DS1. Xmas cake should also be arriving by courier tomorrow... 🤞🤞
DH has 1 card to deliver tomorrow so will grab a loaf from the supermarket then, alongside another bottle of milk, just to be on the safe side.
