Wearing a very peculiar crystal stone studded frog ring, it's too big for me to wear usually but today its adorning my thumb. I think I bought it years ago because its existence made me laugh, I'm very fond of it.
I've also gone mad and put on lipstick, which I never wear but tis advent!
Going for a wintery walk with Mr PIP later and I expect a pub pint might make an appearance, just because we can 😊🍻

OAT: Went out in the dark, with a torch to get the gas reading. Both energy readings submitted before deadline tomorrow 😊
Advent cheerfulness: I treated myself to a 2nd hand copy of ‘The climate change resilient vegetable garden’ for Christmas reading, and it arrived today 😊

@KajiKita we are aligning again - I too have been out in the dark in the field reading the LPG meter 😂 37% so need to put an order in, and I'll do it now to avoid putting it off.
Also texted the plumber this morning - the boiler has been slightly dripping for a few days. Not an emergency and I can't imagine anything will get done til the new year but might as well put a request in.
Been out doing some more Christmas shopping today. Got most of what I need now 😊 Will need to nip out for a few things tomorrow.7 -
Finished work on Friday for 2 weeks, but managed to finish with a lurgy (but the Y11s have been snuffling and sneezing everywhere for the past fortnight) - am hoping tomorrow is the start of feeling better.
Have done a decent amount of wrapping today - will hopefully finish it tomorrow (mostly small stocking stuff to do) Need to nip into town to see if I can get 2 of the boys some new jeans and I might need 1 more Xmas card... sigh...
Have an indecent amount of food around - but hopefully none of it will go to waste! (I hate food waste with a passion!)
Still not feeling overly Christmassy- I think that's down to the lurgy. Hopefully 🤞 no-one else in the house gets it...I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £202 -
Hope you feel better soon @greent
Good to hear everyone is almost done for Christmas, I absolutely cannot believe Christmas day is only three sleeps away! This month has flown by..
I just need to get Mr PIP a food/drink something from me and a specially selected beers bundle from my mum tomorrow, and I am all done
P.s. I will of course be choosing ludicrous earrings to wear whilst finishing the Christmas shop! 🥂6 -

I also checked the gas in the dark. Not yet showing red so do not need to order more
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4
