  • 1 mortgage payment down, 323 to go!

I'm sure the novelty will wear off quickly, but it does feel nice to be on my way.

This week my fridge/freezer and washing machine have been delivered and today I've got help to move the bigger items of furniture that I can't move on my own, so I'm making the most of it. Our last week in this house will feel a bit like camping, but that's no problem.

Spendy spends this week were £176:
    £18 school dinners/bus money
    £45 food
    £19 takeaway
    £49 Christmas gifts
£45 Textbook for my next exam

Wishing all the lovely MFWs a good week ahead

Looking at your spendy spends you seem to be quite frugal, how many does £45 feed and do you do a bigger shop once per month, I am just wondering what you buy to get your grocery money so low? Enjoy your last week.

Get EF up to £1000 Currently £300/ £1000 - 30% of the way there.

Can you not get the books off Vinted / eBay ? My friend sold all of hers online once she’d finished with them.

Hi @CrazyBee787 happy Sunday! My food spend is unusually low at the moment as I'm working through what is in my cupboards. I usually spend at least £60 per week. Still quite low but I only feed my DS 4 nights a week and he has school dinners which are a separate category. I also usually spend £20-30 eating out each week.

Hi @dawnybabes thanks for popping in to my corner of the forum 😊 The textbooks for this course are all online and unshareable - you have to set up an account with an app to read the textbooks sadly.
