Thank goodness it's Friday! It's been a low energy week for some reason, so I'm glad only one day of work to go.

It has been a nice week with a visit from extended family and I hosted book club, which is always a nice catch up. We had read The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, which we loved.

Spendy spends were £289. Nothing flash in there really. Some post day day stock ups.

    £98 food, £67 petrol, £38 gift, £35 cat, £26 takeout, £25 school.

    Have a great weekend MFWs!

Even though it's raining here right now, I'm so glad March is here. I feel like Spring has started.

It's been a chilled out week. Drinks and nibbles at mine and a friend's birthday lunch out. Otherwise, just the daily routine and low stress 👍

Not much MSE activity, but no major splurges either. I'm just plodding along, tracking the budget. Spendy spends were £172.

Food £60, eating out £27, school costs £25, DS allowance £20, gift £15, home accessory £10, book club book £10, charity shop top £5.

TGI Friday, it has been a busy week at work. Since last Friday, I've been out for a catch up with a friend and to the big Scandi shop with my mum, which is always a grand day out. Got lots of bits like shelf dividers, shelves for DS's room, kitchen bin, knives that sort of thing.

I've cleared the driveway which was overgrown in the hopes it would make it easier to manoeuvre my car on and off. It has worked a bit! Parking is not great on my road.

Spendy spends were £334: £143 Scandi shop haul, £57 food, £38 petrol, £37 eating out (oops), £25 school, £18 trousers, £11 gift, £6 notepad.
