    Had a nice river walk & lunch last weekend and a lovely mothers' day with DS, mum & sibling. I've treated myself to a 4-day week so have today off to enjoy the sun if if stays 🙏

    MSE-wise, my car got through it's MOT & service with no work required (that comes out of my fixed costs budget). Spendy spends were £239: £61 food, £49 petrol, £30 gift, £25 eating out, £25 school, £25 clothes, £11 compost, £7 car wash, £6 book.

    Pay day! 🥳 Highlights this month have been:

    • Hosting friends at my house, which has become the meeting point because of its location - unforeseen bonus!
    • Meal kit subscription - I'm trying out one of the two, well-known meal kit subscriptions with an introductory offer. Hoping I'll learn some new recipes to add to my limited repertoire.
    • Spring walks - I love it when the days start getting longer and warmer 🌞

    Still working towards a 1-month EF.

    FIRE: £62 -> £74 (plus pension pots)
