Same/similar with RBS & NatWest then?superM said:
I think that’s their idea. what’s the point of having Lloyds and Halifax branch in a walking distance away when a customer can transact in either of these branches.ChirpyChicken said:
Maybe dual brand branches will end up meaning more bank closures and save them moneyTheleak250 said:I don't think they will merge the brands. Both banks target different markets and the Halifax brand is respected and known.0 -
Not really, RBS only have branches in Scotland, NatWest in England & Wales.jameseonline said:

Cardiff had BOTH Natwest & RBS & you could use either branch to transact, was useful if in different parts of the townflaneurs_lobster said:

Indeed, but no longer. Could do the same in the City and SW1 at one point (think there may have been a Williams & Glyn's in the mix too).jameseonline said:

The exception to every rule is Berwick-Upon-Tweed in Northumberland in England, where there is an RBS branch and a Bank of Scotland branch diagonally opposite each other in Hide Hill.flaneurs_lobster said:

I don't think that's planned. There's no mention of it on the website page which explains the changes:GTR_King said:I still can’t view all my statements in 1 app! Will that happen or not at all!

If you use your online banking digital inbox, you’ll see messages about your Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland accounts all in one place.
That’s what I mean I can’t see all my accounts in digital inbox on different apps!
Like statements letters etc! Will that happen?
I can view monthly PDF statements in the app

I presume it means that the digital inboxes will be effectively merged, so you'll be able to see the messages saying you've got a statement ready in all the apps, but you'll need to access the relevant app to actually see the statement.
I notice it says "online banking digital inbox" but no mention of the app digital inbox, so maybe you won't be able to see cross brand messages in the app, and you'll have to login online?
I'm on Android, and I haven't got co-servicing yet, so I can't check.
