  • Decided to take down the Christmas decs today, gave downstairs a really good clean through and hubby is now preparing an early dinner as I’m off to the cinema tonight with my friend to watch The Housemaid.
Going to try to clean the other 2 floors tomorrow (4x bedrooms and 2x bathrooms) also need to pop to the shop and grab some bits for our New Year’s Day roast.
Had our Gou$to box delivered on Sunday so enjoying eating actual food again rather than chocolate and crisps! Low spend day today, friend paid for cinema tickets so I’ll grab the sweets!

  • Personally I hate the idea of being locked in somewhere, but that is just me. I am glad you had a good time. My niece, her partner and her friends all do them, actually they have done many of them and really enjoy the experience also.

Managed a NSD today. 🙌🏼 finally!
Caught up on the first 2 episodes of Traitors with DS2 and made sure youngest bits and bobs were all ready for school on Monday. Hubby was back at work today so was very strange not having him here. Overpayments are showing on online mortgage account now. I do need to transfer £300 into savings so will make sure I do that this evening.

Oh and our LTV is roughly 51.68%
so close to owning half our home now 🙂

£300 sent across to savings. Sitting at just under £4000 now. We did have just under £10,000 last year but leant DS2 some money to buy a car and he’s paying us back each month.

Might actually set a savings goal for £9000 by the end of 2026. 🤔
