Yesterday my washing machine decided to break beyond repair 🙁

Spent the morning researching for a new one and managed to find one available to collect at Cu££ys. Hubby fitted it once home but we have to have the hinges altered on our kitchen cupboard door as it’s integrated and they didn’t line up with the last machines so he will finish off after work today. All working though and it’s amazing how much quieter it is compared to our last! Hoping this one does us well too.

Yesterday we had a college meeting at DS3’s school. Went well but a lot to think about. Today I popped into town to pick up birthday cards / wrapping paper etc for DS1’s birthday next week. His main present will be money but I’ve got him a few little bits to open. Just need to get a cake and wrap presents.
Hubby has the morning off tomorrow so we are going to go out for breakfast then I’ll drag him food shopping!
today has flown by so need to put shopping away from today then quickly dry clothes and Hoover before DS3 finishes school.

Today has been a NSD, the knocking sound is back on my car though and hubby thinks it could be the steering rack (?) so that’s going to be something we have to deal with sooner rather than later 🙄

Hoping to make another tiny overpayment this month but not going to worry if I don’t as having the car fixed is more of a priority.

Today I’m off to a friends house so should be a NSD.

Car has been dropped off to the garage, came home just in time for Gou$to to be delivered. All packed away after a quick fridge clean out.
I need to pay for DS3’s holiday club in half term and make a payment towards his school trip next March, they should both come to just under £200.
Apart from that I’m hoping for a LSW next week as I won’t have a car and I don’t think there’s anything I need to buy.

Seeing as I can’t go far at the mo and trying to be more careful with money, thought I’d write a list of what I want to get done today.

Still no update on when I’ll have my car back but that has meant I’ve not been able to go far and spend money! Yesterday was a NSD, today the only spends I’m planning on is a small overpayment to the mortgage before payday on Friday.
Managed to finish the book I was reading yesterday, really enjoyed it.
Weather is not great here again today, feels like autumn has properly arrived now 🍂🌧️
