    Hi @Bananabreadyum

    thank you!

We do use Gou$to all the time, we order 5 meals for 4 people and pay £67.99 a week I think. I could probably save money by shopping around for meals but the convenience and time deciding what to eat etc outweighs that for me! After 22 years of deciding what to cook for my family each night I’m over it 🤣
I also have a fussy eater so he doesn’t have a meal, he’ll only eat chicken nuggets / pizza 🙄

Really tempted to try it, really hate the decision part. My youngest is extremely fussy, and what she does like changes on a daily basis, so I think she will eat something and it's changed! Plus my middle one is coeliac so that adds another layer to sort out!

@Bananabreadyum that must be difficult….especially having to find suitable foods for you child’s intolerance. I’m not sure how good Gou$to is for coeliac? I think you can see recipes without joining so don’t know if that would help. X

Yeah they seem to list some as gluten free. Most of the time hes actually at uni, so would only be when he's home.

total spends yesterday was £23 on a takeaway for DS1 and DS3. DS1 babysat for us whilst we went out to a friends bbq so thought I’d treat him to a takeaway, especially as he’d been working all day and stayed in on a Saturday night to look after youngest for us. Today I’ve spent either reading or washing.
Gou$to box arrived for the week, all sorted and put away so will have an early dinner and hopefully watch a film this evening.

    Happy 1st September….

This morning I popped to HB to grab DS3’s back to school lunch bits. Also grabbed a few cleaning bits I am running low on. Total spend was £24.56 so not too bad.
It’s also K!ndle deal day so I’m excited to look through the new 99p deals this afternoon. 📚

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a LSW as don’t have much planned.

Found 2 books I’ve been wanting to read on deal day yesterday, both down to 99p.

    Mortgage payment came out yesterday

    Balance now £179,498.39

Back to school tomorrow and now I’m feeling nervous, I’m sure DS3 will be fine but it’s so strange not having him with me after 6 weeks of being together 😞

DS3 went back to school today…..his taxi driver is the same person as last year so he was happy to see him again.

Another £20.39 overpayment to mortgage to round the balance down!

    Happy Friday.
went for lunch with my sister today. Had a lovely afternoon. Total spends were £16.45

Just home in time for the washing machine to finish so will pop the clothes on the airer. Unfortunately the sky is looking very grey so I won’t be able to dry them outside.
slept like rubbish last night and finally admitted defeat at 4.30am, hoping I don’t feel tired this evening as me and hubby are hopefully going to watch a film later.
