NSD today because I had to cancel coffee with a friend due to waking up with a monster headache and feeling sick. A very quick clean around the house and went back to bed, managed to sleep for an hour and woke up felling quite a bit better.

Still didn’t feel right this morning, headache still lingering so friend came round for a coffee instead of us going out.
That does mean another NSD (hopefully) as I haven’t got any other plans for today.
Tomorrow we are hoping to go and find a new clock for our lounge, we’ve replaced batteries and it’s still isn’t working properly. I’ve seen a few online I like the look of so hoping they have them in store and look just as nice in real life.

Managed to get to the shops and found a new clock we liked. Also picked up some new hairbands, deodorant, floor cleaner and cat food. Spent £86.56

Hubby has put the new clock in the wall and I’m really happy with it. Not sure what tomorrow’s plans are yet but going to watch the football tonight and read my kindle.

Germs have been spreading around the house this week, we’ve all had a cold at some point! Luckily boys are getting over theirs now and I don’t feel too bad today. Popped to HB’s to stock up on more cough sweets and paracetamol. Also went to Sainbo’s to grab the last bits of Father’s Day bits for hubby.
Back home now so going to have a lemsip which I’m hoping helps my sore throat.

haven’t managed to update for a while! Heatwave nearly took me out 🤣

Today is (finally) a day at home, I have someone coming to clean my oven today (not very MSE I know!) and hubby decided after the heatwave we needed air conditioning! Being on the top floor in a town house, with a south facing garden is not the one. Hubby is working on fitting the units in each room today then we have scaffolding going up tomorrow for outside work, will be worth it once it’s done and hopefully adds a little more value to the house 🤞🏼

    Been a while again…..

Air con has now been fitted, lovely and cool at night time now and has made such a difference.
Only made £100 overpayment towards the mortgage this month so far, with paying for the air con I decided to wait until the end of July to see what money we have for another overpayment. We go on holiday in 2 weeks so I’ve also had a few things I’ve needed to purchase for that.
Tonight we are having pizza for dinner, still too hot to cook Gou$to meals so they’ve been on hold for a few weeks now.
I did transfer £300 into savings so we are now at £7314.
