Managed a low spend weekend, we took DS3 to a wildlife centre on Saturday which was lovely in the sunshine. Took a picnic with us so that saved us some pennies. Yesterday was a NSD as we didn’t go far, just a walk in the afternoon but apart from that we enjoyed the garden.
Today I need to pop to HB’s to get a few bits then to m@talan which is next door, to grab some shorts for DS3.

Mortgage payment came out today, balance now at £183,867.29 which includes £100 overpayment. 20yrs and 6 months remaining!

I can’t believe it’s Wednesday already!
bank holiday Monday and a school inset day yesterday has thrown me off.
Popped to L!dl this morning and spent £46.35 luckily didn’t need to get much and £10 of that was on a large bottle of scent boosters I couldn’t resist after smelling them! I haven’t used them for a while but do notice a difference when I do use them.

Bank holiday Monday we went to a local family festival and spent £22.50 on food and drink. The sun came out whilst we were there which was lovely. Yesterday was a NSD.

Nothing exciting going on at the mo money wise…..
Hoping to make an overpayment of £67.29 to the mortgage next week, just to round it down to an even number! Pay day next Friday 🙂 had a NSD yesterday as we went to a local park with friends and took a picnic. Today I’m hoping to get DS3’s haircut and I want to pick up a couple of new nail varnishes.

Mortgage overpayment has cleared now 😊

Car is in the garage today, knocking sound from the front and it’s due its service so hoping it’s not too expensive to fix!
So no car today and raining on and off means a home day.

Yesterday was a NSD and it’s payday Friday.

car is still in the garage 😣 been told it’s going to be about £500. Damage to springs(?) and suspension, likely due to pot holes is what we’ve been told. Hoping we can pick it up this evening 🤞🏼 I need to collect DS3 from school at 4.30 as he’s on a school trip for the day so if I don’t have my car back at least hubby is local to grab me then head up the school. Unfortunately school is a 30 min drive away so not like I can even walk!
no other plans to spend money today luckily.
