Quick visit to HB’s this morning after dropping youngest to holiday club. Spent £22.46 and managed to stick to my list.

Went to the New Forest yesterday for the afternoon with hubby and DS3. Went on a lovely walk around and then to a pub for lunch, had a ham and cheese ploughman’s and it was delicious!

    Happy Monday!
Back to school today so back to routine, today I have a long list of jobs I need to get done around the house. It’s been fully neglected since before the Easter holidays so it will take a while!
Yesterday I ordered DS2 a pair of trainers for his birthday next week (£110) and need to go out this week and grab cards, wrapping paper and a few extra gifts.
Im very tempted to buy one of those G00gle echo shows for my kitchen but i’m going to have a think about it before I commit to purchasing one. I do really want one though 🤣

Also need to pop to the local post office at some point today as Amazon sent hubby the wrong printer ink so I need to return it.
Hopefully the sun continues to shine today 🌞

Today I woke up to a lovely email from southern water to let me know my monthly direct debit will be upped from £89 to £150 from May 😣 honestly give up with all these price increases.
This morning I needed to do some admin work for hubbys business then this afternoon a friend is popping over. I am so pleased today was a planned NSD!

    Friday again already!!!
We are out this evening for a meal to celebrate DS2’s birthday. It’s not until next week but he has uni exams coming up so would rather go out this evening so he can revise next week.
Spoke to the water company yesterday and turns out the water increase is probably due to hubby washing up but leaving the tap running constantly. I did tell him at the time but he doesn’t listen 🙄 anyway I’ve told him to stop and just put things in the dishwasher as it only goes on once a day anyway. He did feel guilty so he’s transferred the direct debit over to his bank account 🤣 every cloud I suppose!
Hopefully now we know the problem we can reduce the water usage again.

This afternoon I’m looking after my friends little one for a couple of hours so need to leave in about 25 mins to get to hers in time. Just finishing off the washing then done for the day, and no dinner to cook today!

I think we have worked out very it’s gone up so much so now we need to work on reducing our usage! These increases seem constant 🙄

April has been another expensive month with birthdays, Easter and bill increases.
Luckily we have no birthdays in May (well apart from mine!) so my bank account shouldn't be hit so hard next month! Pay day Thursday and I have £12 left of my budget so hoping for a couple of NSD’s before then.
