Thanks for this info. I can’t see any way of providing the selfie and passport photo now since that screen request in the app has disappeared and not returned. In case useful for anyone trying to contact etoro customer service to resolve some of the various issues previously highlighted, if you were automatically put into one of the etoro clubs (silver, bronze etc) when joining then if you go into the app and click on the Club bit and scroll to bottom then it names a specific account manager allocated to your account with email, WhatsApp contact details. Whether this will prove any quicker who knows but may be worth a try. Note I’m not sure if this allocated account manager is for whatever club membership tier you are put into or just certain tiers.1

I’m apparently a “silver” and have been waiting three days so far for any kind of WhatsApp response from the allocated manager, and more than a week for any communication whatsoever regarding my open CS support ticket. Just a quick one for anyone still considering the Quilter offer - they have confirmed that as long as a transfer is INITIATED by the 31 Jan deadline, it will be eligible.

Well just received a follow up email from Etoro telling me I am excluded from this promotion and from all future promotional offers lol. Any bonuses in my account will be reversed. They will also be closing my account in accordance to their guidelines.
I am presuming a few others on here will end up with the same email, it does explain why I could not withdraw the bonus part out yesterday.
Just tried to login to my account and it is now blocked.

Having successfully got the shares and cashed out do people think it would be sensible to close the account in case they try and get the money back somehow? In case it helps anyone else with issues regarding withdrawal of funds from Etoro this is the response I finally got today, after submitting a ticket on Monday as well as raising it on chat and via my Account Manager on WhatsApp ( as I got upgraded to Silver status due to value of the monies sat there) regarding the failure I kept getting relating to potentially exceeding payment limits when I blatantly wasn't...
"Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your case regarding your inability to make a transfer from your eToro Money Account.
We currently are facing a technical issue that is affecting clients to make transfers out of the eToro Money.
A fix will be deployed next Monday.
As a workaround:
1) You can wait for the fix until Monday and attempt to transfer then.
2) You can transfer the funds to your trading account, and proceed with a regular bank transfer from the trading account. This will be subject to our processing withdrawals from the USD Trading Account to your bank account . We will cover any conversion fees from our end. "
I think I'll will wait to Monday as don't trust them to cover their exorbitant conversion fees. Certainly not impressed by Etoro so far.3 -

I have closed mine, not because I think they will try to recover the bonus money but because it they run another promotion 30 days from now I should be eligible. Also, I didn't particularly like the app and would not use etoro for real investing.s71hj said:
