Looking carefully from clicking through on the original link it seems that offer ended 31st October 2025OwnedByACat said:s71hj said:With the pension bee offer is there a minimum you need to pay in to the pension for them to add £50?
I did it a while ago but can't remember. It should be in the T&Cs. PensionBee has a referrer-only bonus of £100 so if you do the offer and refer a partner/spouse the two of you could be up £1500 -
Just went into the eToro app and the screen says Action required complete your verification and is requesting photo ID by looks of it. This is despite me getting an email at the application stage a few days ago saying account verified and also have the verified green tick next to my profile icon. Also made the deposit and got the free share a few days ago too. Anyone else had this? My Dad got asked too but during the opening stage rather than days later.0

Oh sorry. I didn't realise, will remove from the list0 -
Clicking through to the article, it seems even worse, 7% rather than 7.OwnedByACat said:0 -
eToro
This is only relevant to anyone who jumped the hoops correctly but got no welcome bonus. Another twist, someone in eToro support has raised a brand new case for me, unprompted, with regard to the welcome bonus (lack of). I will update with any progress. By default I may pass the stated threshold of 7 days, since my funds are locked in the account anyway!2 -
Not a problem at all. I'm sure it's impossible to keep track of hence mentioning it on here.!OwnedByACat said:s71hj said:

The 2nd is to verify your email address which could be part of the initial process, or you may need to manually do this as my wife did (which may account for why she didn't get the free shares). Some time later, we were asked for the photo id verification which included selfie and passport photo. I believe this is only needed to prevent account access being limited at a future date (14 days I think). If you are planning to close the account before then, the additional verification shouldn't be needed.1

On the locked account part, I complied with their requests as per their email. Which included a bank statement from each account from the last 3 months (same account numbers), and statements of source of funds transferred into them used to fund eToro (ie savings accounts).clivep said:eToro...Regarding my locked a/c:Despite eToro contacting NatWest and getting them to verify with me on Friday the legitimate payment into eToro, my eToro a/c remains locked.Yesterday, I contacted them via online chat. I was told someone would call me which they did some time later. In this call they said I would be getting an email asking for proof of funds amongst other questions. I had to send 4 bank statements to show the path from my Cahoot savings. I also informed them that I no longer wanted to withdraw the funds as I now planned to invest in ETFs through them. There's not been any update message from them but when I look at the case status it shows as "under review". However, when I look in my account the balance is now £495 odd with a transaction showing of a £5,000 debit "adjustment". Goodness knows where my £5,000 is now as it's not gone back to NatWest, nor to my Bank of Scotland a/c that I initially tried to withdraw to.Being a glutton for punishment, I got my wife to try for the bonus. Selected Microsoft shares and opened the GBP wallet and had the banner message to fund and the bonus shares were waiting. Followed the link to pay in and did it by bank transfer from Santander (after getting stung by my foray with open banking). Funds showed up very shortly after and the banner message disappeared, but no bonus shares. I know t's & c's say only 1 bonus per household but note that others have succeeded. I wondered if the lack of success was due to adding funds by transfer rather than open banking. Does this account for the differing experiences people are having?
I got a follow up email stating thanks for sending what I did, but they cannot accept what I sent as they can't see any eToro transactions
The eToro transactions were after the most recent statements, and don't state eToro as it was via open banking anyway! I mean moving the goalposts like that is pretty absurd. They had statements from accounts in my name, showing the source of funds and I'm only asking for my own funds to be returned to the original accounts. Anyway I have provided further transaction listings from each account, showing the £5K payments this morning. Not heard back since. This morning there has been another another debit "adjustment" of the £495 odd bonus leaving a balance of zero. None of the £5,495 odd has been returned to me!No follow up email and the case status does not show any updated information.
Still no correspondence from them but the proceeds from the shares has arrived back in my wallet although it's in $ in investments rather than in my GBP wallet. No sign of my £5,000 though!0 -
A mate has another variation: Moved funds out in 2 transactions (DNW). Both disappeared from his wallet.. and didn't show in his funding bank ac for 6 or 7 hours until late yesterday. Then the £495 bonus arrived but not the £5k.clivep said:clivep said:Altior said:

Mid morning today, with no further action, the £5k appeared back in his eToro wallet with 'account suspended' noted. He was using Nat West.1
