Well the offer hasn't ended: I just did it for the OH (chrome) and got the bonus.

Haven't been able to get the funds out yet, but got the £5495 in my, er her, GBP wallet. Says its failing to COP match atm.

ETA : Resolved - have £5495 back in her ac now.  1
Oh for myself and a few others the £500 shares option has disappeared off website

Etoro, just went for it in the end. I put 5000 in chose shares, got shares sold shares. Now my wallet show dollars of 7397.21 which I think means I have appx 5500. So far so good. What I can't now work out is how to get that £5500 back to my bank account. Can anyone advise?

    @s71hj
    On desk top:
LH side scroll down towards the settings wheel. Click on the wallet that appears. If the funds are there in £s,  just below is GB ac, click on it, click send payment. Popup to add payee. use same as funded, COP checks passed? How much to send/get verification code etc

Thanks muchly. Then had problem as verification text never arrived. However I found that manually logging in to Etoro from Internet as opposed to in the app text message arrived and bingo £500 earned in under an hour. Thanks to whoever spotted the deal too!

With the pension bee offer is there a minimum you need to pay in to the pension for them to add £50?

    eToro...
    Regarding my locked a/c:
Despite eToro contacting NatWest and getting them to verify with me on Friday the legitimate payment into eToro, my eToro a/c remains locked.
Yesterday, I contacted them via online chat. I was told someone would call me which they did some time later. In this call they said I would be getting an email asking for proof of funds amongst other questions. I had to send 4 bank statements to show the path from my Cahoot savings. I also informed them that I no longer wanted to withdraw the funds as I now planned to invest in ETFs through them.
There's not been any update message from them but when I look at the case status it shows as "under review". However, when I look in my account the balance is now £495 odd with a transaction showing of a £5,000 debit "adjustment". Goodness knows where my £5,000 is now as it's not gone back to NatWest, nor to my Bank of Scotland a/c that I initially tried to withdraw to.

Being a glutton for punishment, I got my wife to try for the bonus. Selected Microsoft shares and opened the GBP wallet and had the banner message to fund and the bonus shares were waiting. Followed the link to pay in and did it by bank transfer from Santander (after getting stung by my foray with open banking). Funds showed up very shortly after and the banner message disappeared, but no bonus shares. I know t's & c's say only 1 bonus per household but note that others have succeeded. I wondered if the lack of success was due to adding funds by transfer rather than open banking. Does this account for the differing experiences people are having?

On the locked account part, I complied with their requests as per their email. Which included a bank statement from each account from the last 3 months (same account numbers), and statements of source of funds transferred into them used to fund eToro (ie savings accounts).

I got a follow up email stating thanks for sending what I did, but they cannot accept what I sent as they can't see any eToro transactions  :s

The eToro transactions were after the most recent statements, and don't state eToro as it was via open banking anyway! I mean moving the goalposts like that is pretty absurd. They had statements from accounts in my name, showing the source of funds and I'm only asking for my own funds to be returned to the original accounts. Anyway I have provided further transaction listings from each account, showing the £5K payments this morning. Not heard back since.

This morning there has been another another debit "adjustment" of the £495 odd bonus leaving a balance of zero. None of the £5,495 odd has been returned to me!
No follow up email and the case status does not show any updated information.

At least there is some tacit acknowledgement of the welcome bonus on your account! Although obviously you're no more nearer to accessing your own funds, or the bonus now.

I received an acknowledgment this morning that they have received the new evidence that wasn't included in their original request, and it's been forwarded to operations for 'review'.
    eToro
Yes, at least I got the shares (initially!). Was this because I funded by open banking?
On the other hand, my wife had the qualifying banner and funded by bank transfer into her GBP wallet but did not get her bonus shares (I know according to the t's & c's she shouldn't be eligible as from the same household, but others have posted their success).
Does the success or failure depend on the funding method???

Both of my payments were open banking, Santander and Chase. But the second payment (Chase) I only instigated as the bonus didn't materialise with the first one.

Thus there is no reason why the bonus didn't trigger for me. I mentioned in one of my posts that the GBP wallet on the app showed £5K funding, but on the home page on the app, it was still £0 and still had a button to fund the account to get the bonus. I didn't want to put another £5K in. It has gone wrong somewhere there as one part of the app showed the deposit, but another part of the app didn't. I closed the app, signed in again, deposit showed in both places, no 'promo' button but no bonus either. I have emails stating I was fully verified, and my first deposit for £5K was successful.

When I decided I'd had enough, I withdrew them in reverse order. Both went through, but the second one (Santander) was reversed. So at one point it was down to £0, but back to £5K and restricted, so I can't access the remaining funds or invest them.

I did it a while ago but can't remember. It should be in the T&Cs. PensionBee has a referrer-only bonus of £100 so if you do the offer and refer a partner/spouse the two of you could be up £150

JP Morgan Investing (formerly Nutmeg) currently have an offer for new customers only on Top Cashback.

Invest £5,000 or more, or make an initial investment of at least £500 and set up a monthly Direct Debit of £100 or more for at least 2 months.  Cashback = £75.
    ...

Alternatively, you can get 10,000 Avios for a £500 investment  if you go directly with JPM.  (10k Avios is worth more than £75 if you collect Avios anyway and know what you are doing.)   https://www.personalinvesting.jpmorgan.com/avios  If you don't value Avios, you can convert 10000 Avios to 10000 Nectar points, worth £50 in Sainsbury's/Argos.

Thanks for this. The JP Morgan Personal Investing offer seems (perhaps unsurprisingly) to have slipped under the radar somewhat amid all the excitement surrounding eToro. I did have a punt for the latter, even though I only closed a long empty eToro account after reading about their offer here. I was fully aware that attempt was likely to fail in view of the not have held an account within the last 31days stipulation, and so it proved.

All went well until I received an email advising there was an error within the process when we attempted to deliver your free stocks. More in hope than expectation I raised a case to query the reason but, on seeing they could take up to 14 days to respond, I decided to withdraw my £5000 and run. Have to say the withdrawal request was processed and the money back in my current account instantly.

As a consolation, I have gone for the JP Morgan deal through Top Cashback. You mention that alternatively, you can get 10,000 Avios for a £500 investment  if you go directly with JPM. I have applied through Top Cashback and was also able to register for the Avios deal, so will see how that goes.
