Just for the record my £5000 has just appeared back in my original account I deposited in, I sent all the documents they requested last Friday and have just sat patiently since, now to figure out how to get the bonus out which is sat there in USD.1

(of sorts). My £5,000 has arrived back in my NatWest a/c.The $669.59 funds from the bonus shares are sitting in my investment account. My GBP wallet still has access restrictions in place so I can't transfer there. If I try to withdraw from my investment account I get a message to say the request could not be submitted and to contact customer support.0

My TCB hasn't tracked yet either (but my £100 ISA transfer hasn't landed, also)flaneurs_lobster said:

I did a £100 ISA transfer as I didn't have any ISA allowance for this year remaining. It has failed to track and I'm trying to raise a missing cashback claim. Its asking for an order number which starts SM********. I don't have any record of an SM order number within my emails. Is it the account number for the S&S ISA?
I did similar and have raised a claim on TCB quoting the sort/account numbers (because that's all there is) - claim is still outstanding.
However, I have an SM number in the app for the accounts I opened in the format SM-1470XXX-001 (for the investment hub cash) and -002 for the S&S ISA. So I'd be tempted to use that number if that's what TCB asks for, it's not like the OLA number you get when you apply for a current account with them that is then impossible to fins again.0 -
I closed my eToro account today, mainly in anticipation of a new enticing offer sometime in the next few months. Greedy or what...
I got the following email from etoro (my bolding, and my modification of my user name):Dear bonusabuser,
Thank you for contacting us.
We would like to confirm that as per your request, we have closed your eToro account under username - bonusabuser. We value the time you have spent as part of the eToro community and we are sorry to see you go.
Should you decide to trade with us again in the future, please open a new account or feel free to contact Customer Service and we will be happy to assist you.
If you require further assistance or information, feel free to contact us via live chat during business hours.
Thank you,
The eToro team
Whilst this is very likely a boilerplate confirmation email, they don't seem to mind people coming back. Time will tell.

I know they have supposedly withdrawn the offer now, but I created my account whilst the offer was still live, and I appear to still have the option of adding £5k.
My reservations were due to people not successfully getting the free share (for whatever reason), but also problems with withdrawing the £5k.
I still can't make up my mind whether I should take the plunge. Am I right in thinking that the absolute worst-case scenario now would be that my £5k would be stuck there for at least 90 days, with or without the free share?

I don't feel like the lack of bonus shares is correlated with the partially locked accounts.winkowinko said:I know they have supposedly withdrawn the offer now, but I created my account whilst the offer was still live, and I appear to still have the option of adding £5k.

The 90 day caveat relates to the strict interpretation of the t&c, with regard to the welcome bonus.
What I would say is if you need access to the £5K at any time, it's a tangible risk. As there is no timescale for those accounts that have been locked due to being placed under review.1 -
Ah yes, you are absolutely right, I was thinking of the OLA number from a savings account application. When I funded the S&S ISA there was no application since I already had one open.Jazzking said:

Hi Clive
Great you got your £5k back, now you can relax as everything else gained is a bonus..
Are you on desktop? Is there a 'GBP ac' when you scroll down below the 'Add Funds to GBP' 'Add Funds to USD' 'Create Wallet'?
Is the bonus in there in GBP? Can you 'Send Payment' to your bank?
Does your account actually show 'restricted' anywhere?
Cos' I don't see 'Restricted' anywhere - just w/ds keep getting 'rejected'.
I've done the Bank Statement thing last night, not heard owt yet.
Good luck.
