We didn’t manage to see a barn owl last night. But as compensation the cosmos provided us opportunity to spend 20 minutes watching dolphins 🐬. Quite a large pod including mum and calf😃.

Paid £8:10 for parking😱. Managed another long walk today although towards the end my leg was starting to tire. We then went to see friends who live in the area. We had planned to see them for a couple of hours and then go to the chippie. Unfortunately we got talking and then realised the chippie was shutting in 10 minutes. After we left we called at the supermarket (£26) for some provisions. We decided to make baked feta and roasted homegrown tomatoes with pasta for tea instead.
Looking forward to watching sewing 🐝 tonight. Tomorrow the weather isn’t going to be great so I’m going to start on my application form.

Application is done even though I had a massive headache. I did get AI to help. Although it covered everything I wanted, but my word it was waffling. Got it to cut the waffle and still needed to adapt it to reflect me. Took hours as I was trying to remember which qualifications I did when and trying to find addresses for places I worked but no longer exist. Anyway it’s done and we went out to celebrate at the chippie. Currently indulging in a glass of wine to unwind. Closing date is Sunday with potential interview date next Thursday.

if you kept a copy that will help if you fill in an application in future as you will have all the information at your fingertips in one place. If you didn't keep a copy maybe write or type something out in the next few days while its all fresh in your memory

Thanks beanielou. Daisy_1571, luckily enough I was able to cut and paste from the form I submitted as it was on a council website and you can access your application form. In the process of applying for a couple of more jobs, which would be preferable to the original one. We’ve worked out that I need to earn at least £18,000 ( Mr 🐞 wage drop will be £13200 less a year before tax etc and £4,495.40 carers allowance that I will lose) Anyway 🤞something materialises.
Mr🐞and I started discussing what jobs need tackling once he’s part time. Top priorities are finishing the hedgehog box that has been 18months in the making🤣, kerb appeal of the house ( dfwb321 and watty1 inspired) and altering the back garden on a shoe string. The last 2 will hopefully help with us selling the house in the future.
We went on a 7 mile walk today, 3/4 of the way round my energy just slumped, leg, hip and back not happy. Just too far. Had to have a sleep and Mr🐞 cooked tea when we got back. Hopefully a shorter walk tomorrow.
