Had a lovely time with my friend, we went on very long walk. Had fantastic views of a jay that we sat and watched . Came home via the supermarket and crumpled at the first hurdle and bought treats as well as own label weetabix and gluten free bread. Applied for another job, looking at another one that’s a bit outside my comfort zone., but sounds interesting.

    FRUGALNESS FOR TODAY.
    • Bought own label weetabix instead of the usual. ( let’s not mention the treats🥹).
    • tea was veggie minestrone soup (homegrown herbs, courgette, borlotti beans and tomatoes ). Very filling and there is enough leftovers for 2 meals. We have frozen it to take with us when we stay with the eldest next week.
    • lots of free exercise and therapy ( we are each others sounding boards) via friendship 💜.
    • Mr 🐞 finally remembered to pay the account for his trainers that he was supposed to buy with his birthday money, but didn’t have it to hand when we got them.

Hope you can fight off the germs. If you have excess courgettes, they are yummy to pickle in the same way as the cukes.

Teapot2 thanks for the info on courgettes, not had a glut this year but will store info for next year.
Mr 🐞currently failing at frugalness, having a shower now instead of waiting till our free electricity hour. Complaining of being sweaty. Told him it needs to be an in and out job🤣, honestly some people 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
