Yesterday the in laws came for brunch and then Mr 🐞 went and steadily mowed the grass at the allotment. Back is a lot better and is just its normal grumbly self rather than the julius (ceaser) type pain. I spent the afternoon listing more kids toys, which by this morning had all been sold🥳.
Today has been a busy day. I had arranged to help a relative get to grips with using one of the selling sites. However, they were getting themselves into quite a tizz over it. I suggested that I sell it on their behalf. Took me about 20 minutes to load 50 items spilt into 6 bundles. Sold within 30minutes as a job lot. Screenshot everything over to relative so they could see exactly how much they made plus insurance for me in case wider family members make any accusations in relation to myself. My reward was 2 huge carrier bags of art stuff for the youngest old junior school where their TA who we keep in touch with works. Hopefully it will save the school some money. Have arranged for them to pick it up on Thursday, plus we get to have a catch up.
Combined my morning trip to my relatives with calling at my mum’s for a shower and lunch. That trip was combined with meeting up with my lovely friend for a walk. I then Combined that trip with calling at the sm (£102ish) before I headed home. So that 1 drive equalled 4 things done.
Once back home posted 2 sales and packaged up another 3. The youngest then announced that they felt ill again!!!!!!! We have agreed that when they go to see the dr next week ( to discuss medication) I will be going with them to discuss their ongoing health issues.
My friend has asked me to look after their cats 🐈⬛ 🐈 again until Sunday, so best get some sleep 😴 as tomorrow is going to be another busy day.

Very efficient use of the car!! 👏👏 Well done for helping relative with the selling site. Do you think they will become self starting on there now? It makes me smile that your reward was art materials for someone else - that’s lovely.
Sorry to hear your youngest is feeling ill again, hope the GP has some suggestions next week. I had to think for a minute about Julius ceasar but got it in the end 😉 Glad Mr LB is in less pain 😊I hope you enjoyed your walk with your friend 😊

No I don’t think they will entertain it KK. I needed to set something up to make the phone password safe first and they said no. So didn’t even get to the stage of downloading the app. Doesn’t matter I’m happy to help at the moment.
2 parcels sent off and then went to volunteer job. Other than that I spent rest of the day sowing beans. Climbing French beans, dwarf french beans and climbing borlotti beans. 24 of each variety. Potted on various seedlings.Best go and feed my friends cats.

Super busy day, 2 lots of cat love or maybe just tolerance from their point of view🤣. Celebrated with relative their acceptance onto a course they have wanted to do for years. Collected olio requests, called at the allotment to harvest rhubarb/ spring cabbage and went to get prescription on the way home. Then youngest old TA came for a cuppa and a catchup. Handed over the stuff from relative ( card) and the stuff I’d harvested at the plot for them. Plumber came and fixed the shower. It was a £20 part total £80. Trip to the plot with Mr 🐞 and started to put the leeks in, harvested another cabbage for a friend that is popping in for a catch up tomorrow. I think after tomorrow I will have caught up with everyone.
Time for teaLove🐞

Yesterday was an ok day, hit fatigue wall at 530pm had to go to bed. Unfortunately that meant I didn’t sleep particularly well last night. Today is a struggle mood wise, felt very mopey and down. So decided a little self care is in order. Lovely long shower, no longer have yeti legs. Going to take it easy, I had planned to do stuff around the allotment but motivation is very low at the moment. I’m not sure if I’m just not peopled out or the fact that everyone I spoke to this week are dissatisfied with major aspects of their lives. 2 of them are genuinely positive people. So I’m wondering if that has rubbed off.
On a separate note I have decided that due to the ongoing plans of downsizing I’m going to look at making several lists over the next couple of months identifying what each room in the house needs doing. Decluttering and painting are on the cards for the majority of rooms whilst keeping the allotment ticking over.
This month I’d really like to concentrate on our room.
1) Looking around, the major issue is clutter from decluttering other rooms and waiting for them to sell. I need to find somewhere else for it to live whilst waiting. I have a couple of big boxes and they could go either in the loft( will probably be forgotten about) or the garage. COST- low
2) The window has blown and we have a couple of others that need replacing. COST-high.
3) At least one wall need painting due to marks that a cloth won’t remove. COST- low.
4) Need to differentiate between stuff that can be sold, given away or thrown. If we are going to downsize, we have too much stuff. We need to remember that we don’t need Justin just because we are frugal.COST -low.
5) Cleaning need to be done. Find a routine that makes it quick and simple. COST-low.
6) Do we need to invest/ create something that will enhance our room?
I’ve screenshot this page to remind of my current aims.

I've a few windows that have blown. I'd like to find a low cost solution but I'm not sure there is one.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -
As long as the frame is alright then you can just replace the glass.
4 -
Get a local chippy to measure up the panes and then get the panes ordered from a local uPVC / double glazing workshop. There will be one somewhere tucked away locally. The frames are made to pop apart (which is one reason why uPVC isn’t that secure if they aren’t assembled / installed correctly).
We’ve just done all four panes (smallish ones) in our dining room window (heritage wooden frames so a narrow rebate and special thin double glazed units) for c. £80. Yes, you’d have to pay labour on top (Mr KK did ours for free 😊) bit it would still be a LOT cheaper and less disruptive than a whole new window unit.KK

thanks for reminder badmemory and advice kk. 2 of the window frames are ok and 2 aren’t ( found another one whilst assessing all the windows in the house),so that’s hopefully a saving. It’s took me 4 hours to gut our room. Walls washed down, dust bunnies corralled and sucked up, all the wooden furniture has been polished, room Decluttered (£19 worth of stuff sold), rubbish either recycled or thrown in the bin, 1 bag of clothes ( not sold) and 1 bag of rags for work. Mr🐞 helped me to get the single mattress in our wardrobe out the house and into the car for the tip run. Massive queue. Room instantly felt bigger.
Best go as I’m almost at the front of the queue for the tip🥳Love 🐞
