Auti I take vitamin D and iron tablets plus a b12 injection every 3 months. There is thyroid issues in the family (3members), but I was tested a couple of months ago and it was fine.
I going to focus on diet, exercise and relaxation for the next couple of months as I’m fairly certain these are the issue. On another diary they were talking about seeing your future health as a pension. Invest now to reap the rewards in old age. So with that in mind Mr 🐞 and I walked to the local pond to feed the calci worms that the birds are snubbing to the ducks. Gobbled down. We then walked to a field to see if the early orchids were up, they weren’t. Walked back through the wood by the stream that miss giddychops had a splash in. Miss giddychops is loving the new extended lead. So much happier. She can roam more but is still tethered to me ( ( she’s going blind). We went to the plot. Planted and weeded future meals. Lots of weeds are sprouting alongside the good stuff. Additional peas are in and leeks watered in. I might of sown too many leeks🤣. Came home once it started to rain and got the washing in, which just needed airing. Instead of slumping we decided to bolt crop the toilet seat off as the nuts were rusted on and I put the new one on🥳. Another job ticked off the list.
We had to put the heating on as the house was really cold to just take the chill off. Packed several V sale items (aunts) and 1 of mine. Disability pushchair didn’t go on E, so reduced the price. Hopefully it will go this upcoming week 🤞. Tea was stir fry made with several ys items.
Other than that, that was it.Love 🐞

sounds a good plan Ladybird 1106 I find going for a walk and seeing nature makes me happy even if it is finding shapes in clouds. Hope your world goes ok - little wins (even if it is finishing a hot drink whilst it is still hot!) bring a smile :)

loved your finding shapes in clouds auti.
Yesterday we had a slow morning. Yoga then pancakes with the last of the frozen gooseberries. Eventually got to the allotment. Mr 🐞 continued with clearing the leek to be bed. I continued to hoe, fine weed and sow future meals( parsnips again😤, lettuce and spinach). Transplanted the beetroot plants I’d grown at home. Had intermittent showers after the 2nd heavy one, we gave up, harvested cabbage, asparagus and went home. Snacklet was lightly cooked asparagus with butter, salt and pepper 😋mmmmmm.
Spent an hour uploading various things to V. Sold 6 bundles of toy figures. Mr 🐞was a hero and went into the loft to hunt for boxes. Date for car boot with help from a friend is organised for late July 🤣 due to other commitments. I have several bulky items that have been put aside for then. Whilst I was doing that Mr 🐞scraped out the old sealant from round the bath 🛀 as he’s going to reseal it later today. Other than walking miss giddychops that was pretty much itLove 🐞

Mum and I booked our tickets to go and see the Tracey Emin exhibition yesterday , it’s my present from mum. Several trips were needed to send of all the V and Wob packages off. Only one for my aunty this time, her sales have come to a halt so probably reduce it at the weekend. Also took all the unopened toiletries to the local point for donations for the domestic abuse project. Very tired yesterday as I had a dreadful night sleep due to my tinnitus.
On a more positive note the bath/shower has been re sealed.

Lots of little jobs done yesterday. Took friends card over plus bubbly. Didn’t stop as they were wfh. Popped to the allotment in the rain to harvest lettuce. Decided since I was there I’d weed 2 of the greenhouses ready for planting tomatoes this week. Watered my neighbours greenhouse as they are currently ill. Water butts are filling up again with all the rain we’ve been having. Collected olio requests, enough bread rolls to last Mr🐞2 weeks 🤞plus a loaf for the youngest. Came home and shredded 2 big bags worth of paper .These will go up to the allotment to add to the compost bins. 1 huge bag of receipts for burning next time we have a fire 🔥. On the evening time I sat and deleted over 500 emails. Found the online receipt for the new battery we bought for the electric mower which isn’t working. Finally got miss giddychops out for a walk once it stopped raining. Walked up over the fields but I think it might have been too much as she was shattered once we got home.
Looks like it might be another dreary day here. Supposed to be out for lunch with the youngest today, however they stopped up late last night so we will see. I’m at the chazzer today for a couple of hours. Hope everyone has a good hump day.
Love 🐞

lunch with the youngest went ahead yesterday ,then went onto volunteer job. Internal politics have surfaced, trying not to get involved as I’m not interested in people’s pettiness.
On a more positive note managed to get to the allotment last night and finally got my celery in (27plants), just need to mulch today as I ran out of time. Transported the tomatoes and the compost on site. Again another job for today. Left the tomatoes to soak in various trays. Been researching homemade fertiliser. I already use crushed egg shells (calcium ) and comfrey tea (nitrogen) , but apparently banana tea is also another good fertiliser ( potassium). So will set some of that off this week. Chop 4 banana peels into small pieces and steep in a gallon of water for 24/48 hrs. Strain and use in your plants 1 a week. Will give it a try as a cost cutting exercise.
Best give the youngest another shout to get up.

Dropped off a V packages before going to the plot. Spent the majority of the day at the allotment yesterday, Took a long time to put the tomatoes in as the greenhouses were so hot and that’s before the heatwave. Set up the cucumber frames as there is space near the back for them to climb and hopefully add some shade. 3 tomatoes not in as need to clear that house of its potting table. I did manage to transport my squash plants up there and they are in the potting shed for now. Set up 4 new containers ( repurposed from the donation area) . 2 containers have dill plants and the others had Welsh onions seeds sown. Weeded all the herb planters. Watered my neighbours plants again as they are still ill and gifted them 3 tomato plants. Dug the green manure into the salad bed to use late next week. Courgette and sweetcorn are out hardening off ready to go in this weekend 🤞. Whilst waiting for my drink to cool after having most of my lunch I went and sowed some spring onions. Looked up at 2 magpies were helping themselves to my nuts that I had left open on the table😤🤣Shooed them off, but decided to throw them the rest as I’m not sure where those beaks had been. Pour my tea away as well, poured a new one after cleaning my cup and put it in the shed to cool. . After 5 hrs I’d had enough.
I’m surprised I’m not more stiff today. Time to wake the youngest for their meds. Have a good day everyone.

I just used to throw chopped banana peel direct onto the soil to add potassium - they turn black almost straight away so are invisible - is that an option?
