Thank you themadvix and teapot2 for the tofu advice. Thanks GP for the cheese advice will give those ideas a go. I’ll have to see where our nearest one is VH.
Spent the morning continuing to clear near my workbench. The black bin is almost full of stuff I’ve got rid of. Gained loads of space and I can actually reach for things easily. Additional space created near the window for seedlings. Took a massive bag of excess pots to the plot. We have a donation area. In the afternoon I sowed beetroot, cauliflowers, Brussels sprouts, psb and leeks. Heated propagaters are full again. Abit disappointed as only 3 aubergines came up and it’s too late to sow more.
Started tidying the house. Managed to sort through all the stuff the eldest had been through the other day. So the black bin and blue bin are full. Listed an a job lot of beads, boxes and clasps on E. Mr🐞 arrived home and helped to finish the tidying by hoovering and washing up.
It’s stopped raining so best get the washing out and then get ready to go to the plot. We lost 3 panels in one of the doors of the greenhouses😤 due to the wind.

I chop our tofu (always buy super firm one) into small cubes (couple of cms) and then sprinkle with yeast flakes, cornflour and sometimes low salt soy sauce. I'll airfry it to cook and then we usually use some sauce on top. We also sometimes make scrambled tofu with it. I'm trying to eat more too.

And the HRT has been hit and miss since I started mine. Migraines one minute then none the next. I'm keeping my eye on it as they're gone at the mo and I'm taking it every day....

Our greenhouse was attacked by winds the other week and we lost a few panes. Thankfully they were plastic. And have gone back in but some wood was split where it was violently ripped away in one corner. We appear to live in a wind tunnel 🙈.

I find freezing and thawing tofu before cooking it greatly improves both the texture and it's ability to absorb the flavours you put on it

    That’s an interesting idea turtlemoose.
So yesterday, First earlies are in, in laws fed and watered, leftovers in the fridge, used nature’s tumble dryer and we actually managed the walk the youngest suggested on Friday. Started a new book, so no tv last night.
Today’s plan is allotment, volunteering and then a friend is taking me out for a meal as a thank you for helping them out a couple of weeks ago.
Time to get a wriggle on.

Plans for today have had to be cancelled as Mr 🐞 is ill. The youngest made the mature decision to cancel our plans with their friend as they don’t want to pass anything on. Their friend has to have a mri next week. Really proud of them for being so thoughtful. So I will post an E package, go to the allotment, do the shopping and then maybe do something in the garden. Hopefully he’s better by Friday as we have friends coming over.

Hope Mr L recovers quickly. Lovely of the youngest too.

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Mr🐞 is fully recovered 🥳, so went to work yesterday.

Trip to the chiropractor, who was a little surprised and disturbed by my appointment with the private podiatrist and what they told me. She was pleased to hear that I have self referred for physio and have decided to wait to see a nhs podiatrist. She told me to ask them for an x ray of my legs to ascertain whether I have one leg shorter than the other. Told her what exercises I’d been given etc and that the pain was actually worse. Again she was very concerned and suggested some alternative exercises that will help to stabilise my foot first and then talked about exercises that will help with my core. Although she didn’t out right say don’t go back, her measurements of my legs would suggest there is no difference and the problem is more muscular/ tendon related. I walked out and the pain was gone , although I know it will be back in about a weeks time. I had been questioning what I’d been told by the private podiatrist as the pain had increased to the point that yesterday morning I got stuck in bed as I woke up laying on my front and couldn’t turn over due to the pain. In the end I just had to grit my teeth.
Anyway moving on to more positive thoughts. Our friends came over for a games night. First time our partners have met and they appear to have got on really well. I wasn’t looking forward to it as Mr🐞doesn’t do people. However copious amounts of wine helped oil the proceedings🤣.
Time to 🧘🏻‍♀️, lazy morning as it’s raining.
