Indeed happy birthday to Mr L.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Thank you for the birthday wishes.
Lovely day yesterday, the youngest agreed to eat at a new place, this is usually a major trigger for them. They just had chips, but that’s standard. Mr 🐞 was touched that they were willing to try somewhere new. How far they have come in the last year💜. Had to bring some of mine home as there was just too much. In laws paid even though that wasn’t the plan. After naps were had and then a couple of games.
The eldest agreed to go through some boxes that I’d brought down from the loft. I have 3 large plastic boxes in the loft. Going to designate one each for the kids for stuff they want to keep. Lots of stuff sorted into chazzer, recycle, sell, keep, keep and think about, tip piles. Condensed 7 boxes down to 3.
Sold 2 items on E, will get those sent tomorrow. Not a lot of money made but better in my pocket than not.
Best get sorted as we are having a cooked breakfast for brunch before we take the eldest back to uni city.

Had a lovely day yesterday, the youngest actually got up for breakfast 🥳.
Took the eldest back and then called at a nature reserve on the way back. Had a lovely couple of hours exploring. Saw lots of birds but no otter ( one was sighted this week). Lots of steps achieved. Physio seems to be helping and not sitting with my legs tucked under and to the side of me. Hip is not aching as much today.
Dropped both E sales off. Everything else is not moving, so once it’s done this round on the auction I’ll take them off and put them in the car boot pile. I have a pile of stuff to list. Motivation isn’t particularly high at the moment.
Need to go fill my water bottle and then go to t’ai chi.Love 🐞

Thanks kk the physio is working a treat.
I’m having an issue with a V buyer who is claiming their parcel didn’t arrive even though the sale was completed. It’s taken them almost 5 weeks to raise the issue rather than the 48hrs of getting a message their parcel had been delivered. I’ve told them I obviously no longer have delivery info as it was all completed. Referred them to V rules and evri tracking page as there is nothing I can do. Hopefully they get some joy from one of them.
Not a lot done yesterday as I felt very ill.I’ve had to come off the hrt as I recognised the symptoms from when I was younger. Was unable to use any sort of pill related to hormones then. I’ve decided to get my blood pressure under control first and try hrt in a couple of months. I don’t think it will make any difference. With that I went and bought a blood pressure monitor and my high reading at the drs was definitely white coat syndrome 🤣. But it is in the pre stage so needs addressing. I’ve already started this and do feel a bit better. All lifestyle changes. Mr🐞and I had a long chat about the inheritance money we’ve stashed away for retirement. It was agreed that after half term I will use some of this to access the gym( swimming pool as part of the package), it’s the local council one and it’s the pool I want to access. It’s cheaper to join than pay each time I go.If I’m unable to use hrt I need to focus on strengthening and heart beat raising exercises. It’s no good me getting to retirement and having major health issues, although all this preventative stuff might not help. We’ve both agreed that our diet needs an overhaul and will try tofu again ( I’ve bought some that’s pre marinated from L) . We do eat a lot of fruit and veggies but we also like 🧀. Still on the look out for smaller plates via chazzers.
In between migraines Mr 🐞and I started to tidy up my workspace in the garage. Potatoes are currently chitting. I had seedlings that needed moving as I have more that I need to sow and need the space in the house. Things were moved around rather than sorted through 🤣. Anyway I have space, tomatoes and peppers in there. Lots of light from the see through ceiling in there.
Right miss giddychops is ready for their walk. Hope you have a good day everyoneLove 🐞

I’m guessing the issue with tofu is the lack of flavour/texture? I’ve struggled with that a bit - it’s ok, but you’ve got to have the right recipes for it. We really like this though: https://www.thespruceeats.com/baked-tofu-in-thai-peanut-sauce-3378127

🐞 - I suspect you already know this anyway, and it isn't a proper solution for anything other than sauces really, but if you were making a cheese sauce - or even things like quiche I guess, using a spoonful of dijon mustard or some 'nooch' ramps up the cheese flavour, without adding extra cheese. Unfortunately it doesn't work atop a cracker, but……. Perhaps it may help a little, and makes cauli cheese a little less sinful?
