oh it was a tummy upset badmemory, both ends unfortunately. She seems ok, no more doggie treats.
Collected olio requests, ferried fil backwards and forwards to the garage and took mil out for cake, coffee and a catchup.
Came home and my energy levels just plummeted, ended up having to have a 😴. Need to start using my sad lamp as my mood and motivation is low too. This is not unusual for me at this time of year and in fact it used to last about 8weeks. I’ve managed to reduce this over the years, hopefully this year it will just be the next 4 weeks. Not sure what else I can do to help myself. Just need to accept this is what I need to deal with.

My SAD lamp makes a big difference. It is very old now and I'm not sure it is as effective but I leave it on whilst at work and I know they help.
Hope yours helps soon.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Thanks watty1 and beanielou, it’s good to know there are others who struggle too. I got sick of going to the drs and them telling me I was depressed and offering antidepressants. I knew I wasn’t as it happened the same time every year and would end at roughly the same time too. So did my own research. I’ve accepted that the next month will be done according to energy levels. Sad lamp used yesterday morning and short 😴 in the afternoon. Steps not completed but miss giddychops was walked until they were tired.
Boiler passed its MOT🥳. Housework was done to the best of my ability. Tea (pumpkin and pepper soup) was leftovers and olio bread.
Today focus, collecting olio requests, walking miss giddychops and making a roast dinner as the eldest is coming home for the weekend.Time to get the youngest wheelchair in the car.

Pumpkin and pepper soup sounds nice - if you have a chance to post a recipe, I'd be interested (pretty please).

I can’t give you weights as I don’t measure. Roast until charred on the edges, half a pumpkin ( or a full butternut squash) ,3 red peppers, 2 medium sized onions, sunflower oil, salt and pepper. Once roasted, 2 veggie stock cubes and about a litre of water ( you may need to add more if your veggies are on the large size. Boil and then simmer for 20 minutes then liquidise. Add more water if you like it thinner. I sometimes add a pinch of chilli. Hope that helps cherryfudge.

Disappeared down the rabbit hole that is V. So far bought 2 pairs of gardening gloves (same brand I usually get), apple moth trap, 2 skirts and shirts from the Cornish condiment label, harem trousers and a pair of safety boots for the allotment. I need to stop. It’s great that everything is cheaper but I don’t need anymore clothes. I have however seen a second hand settee in the chazzer the youngest works in. Measured it up and it’s the same size as the one that it will replace. Mr🐞 is happy to get it( only took 6 years of looking 🤣) . Will cost us £160 plus £20 delivery.
Had a lovely couple of hours with eldest, altered the youngest’s pj, walked yet again in the rain with miss giddychops, called at the plot for cabbage, kale and Brussels for tea. All the veggies for tea either came from the plot or olio requests.
