    Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

    In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

    I love all of the cheese🧀 truckles around at this time of year. We were going to go to the Xmas 🎄Market today for a bimble, but the weather is too cold, wet🌧 and windy for bimbling - so will truckle shop in a couple of weeks instead 😃

    That made me smile. Christmas Day Park Runs can be fun :)   I enjoyed the one I did when I had no family or friends to share the day with

  • In laws have now been informed of what to look forward to Christmas Day🤣. Had them for lunch as it was FIL birthday. Unfortunately it took awhile to cook for them as I am now done to 2 burners on the top. There is no way I’ll be able to repeat a big roast on Christmas Day, so I’ll have to get a new oven😤. Plus a couple of kitchen cupboards decided to drop their doors lately. Need to look at our options around the kitchen and its slow decline. 
    In other news I sold some flippers (£10) on bay, so need to send those off hopefully today. 
    Right need to motivate myself as my mum wants to go Meadowhell to sort the kids Christmas presents.

    Having got old & arthritic I no longer try to get everything ready at the same time as it is a good way to make sure something lands on the floor.  I have had a microwave for over 45 years now & cook most things before & then give them a quick whizz.

    I'm always at the IKEA over there (unless I can be bothered with Nottingham or Leeds)
