I don’t know how but I have stayed the same again and it’s by the skin of my teeth I have had far to many treats and I’ve been lucky but back on it today or else I will be sliding back to my old weight very quickly a good swift kick up the backside has been given5

STS for me this week, which Im actually really annoyed about!
For once I did everything right. No treats, ate healthy, kept up my exercise and its had no effect at all.

If you are administering that to yourself at least your flexibility is doing well. (Or was it a metaphorical kick?)IzzyBee said:I don’t know how but I have stayed the same again and it’s by the skin of my teeth I have had far to many treats and I’ve been lucky but back on it today or else I will be sliding back to my old weight very quickly a good swift kick up the backside has been given4 -

Thanks guys
Penny I hope you had a great holiday and lots of delicious food!I've been trying to be good this week, so far its not been too bad, I did share a piece of flapjack with my sister yesterday with a cuppa at the garden centre. We were celebrating finding a birthday gift for another sister 🙂. I made a big batch of vegetable soup with meatballs, rice noodles and cannellini beans there were enough extras in there not to feel I was missing out on some bread or toast with it. And this week has been a fishy week!

hello,So happy with my scales this morning, 2lbs off, s two more to go to get back to where I started. Now that the bad weather has come in, it will be home made soup for most lunches, I bought a bag of cooking peppers it had about 8 nice ones in, and the last two are needing to be used, so tomato and pepper soup it will be for a couple of days.4

Sorry, bit of a whinge coming up, but any thoughts welcome!
I'm away with work for a couple of days. Hotel breakfast, bought lunch (eg meal deal) and evening meal out.
I'm feeling so stressed trying to work out how to have a decent meal without blowing my calorie budget!!! I'm literally checking restaurant websites for food options and it's so time consuming and I'm just in a tizz. I'll prob end up in a certain pizza joint which does holey pizzas with salad in the middle, because it's the easiest... but I want to try different places too!
I try to 'be good' at the hotel breakfast, and just have beans on toast. Even that works out at 400ish cals, and then the hash browns and nice yogurts are looking at me. And marmalade! Fresh fruit juice! Croissants! It's got to last me til lunchtime as I normally have breakfast at 9.30ish, not 8ish. As for healthyish lunches around 500cals... that's just a soggy sandwich which doesn't fill me up 🙄
I know it's all 'free food', and I'm lucky to have that, but it is so hard to manage healthy eating while away. Aaargh!!! It's the constant mental effort needed which wears me out.
I will walk round the shopping centre to make up for some of it though.3 -
1.5 Off please Brambling.
@Pixie_Cosmo I feel your pain. Evening meal, can you find somewhere that will make you a grilled piece of meat (sorry can't remember if you eat meat / fish) and ask for it grilled with a salad? I find most places will accommodate, even a Spoons will, or an Indian restaurant for a Tikka / Tandoori. Italians are good if you tell them about cream and oil, I usually make appoint of asking them to tell the chef thank you when ordering. You can always fake a stomach problem!
Lunch, can you buy a protein drink and have it an hour 30 min before you have your lunch to fill you up a bit?
Breakfasts don't do it for me, I'd rather have an extra 30 min in bed, you could always grab a yogurt and fruit and take it back to your room, to avoid temptation. I will admit that I do like a muffin, toast with lots of butter and juice at a hotel breakfast, although my stomach will pay for it all day. If all else fails, can you have a couple of 800 cal days when home.
Have a good week everyone.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538
