Trip to Devon was OK only had 1 appointment in the end which was a shame. Only going locally for the rest of the week so that is nice I can get my emails sorted out. I am still not happy about OWA but I have no other choice.
Went to the gym yesterday tried a class called tone it was only 45min so I thought it would be OK. It was tough with weights and everything. Instructor was good but so hard. He said that class and many other will be cancelled in 1 week as Fitness first had been hit by the credit crunch. Well that is just typical I sign up for 12 months and that happens. I hope they don't cut my Friday and Monday classes but we shall see. Still not had a call about the missing email to claim my £30 back might have to call HQ again. They are in Poole which is where I am going today - maybe I should pop in.
DH told his staff about the plans to make them part time. Two were fine but 1 said he coud not afford it. He pays £1000 a month on a Norhern Rock mortgage. Ouch. They all have to accept or he can't go ahead with the cut in hours. He still hopes this guy will accept or they will only have enough money to run for 6 months like they are now. Surely the chap can see that having a part-time job is better than no job. He has been there 6 years and it will most likely be him that has to go if he can't accept. Tough one I don't envy DH.
DH will take a pay cut to help the situation himself but not for 3 months as that is when he will have paid off the interest free loa we took to get the stuff from the Bathstore. I think I can pay at least £800 this month out the other bathroom loan and the mortgage is only £12k so we are getting there.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi TG
Today is day one of my hols so I'm able to post rather than having a quick lurk. I've just been catching up on your thread and wanted to say I'm sorry to hear about your DH's work troubles but well done to him for recognising the problems in advance and trying to do something about it. It must be a very difficult situation for you all to be in but hopefully the amazing inroads you have made on the financial front is bringing you some comfort.
Regards

Things are looking up a bit DH's staff has agreed a reduction in hours two of them 50% and 1 to 80% so they should now be OK for a while. Hopefully business will pick up what they mainly do is supply part for machines which have worn out. Things do wear out don't they as long as the machines are working.
Had a bit of a surprise yesterday finally decieded to book agolf lesson to get my game back in shape before my golf weekend next weekend. Pro is leaving his last day is Saturday. Such a shock he has been around for years and he knows how to sort my game out. His assistant has booked me in at 3pm today but he may cancel if it is too much. I hope not as I really want to sort it out. Also want to do Pilates at 10.30am for 1 hour. Is it too much to skive off for 2 hours today? I suspose I could do 1 hours work now instead of browsing MSE.
Nice and sunny today so hopefully it will stay nice today.Save £12k in 25 No 49

- Quidco is paying me £75 and DH £65 this month due to old tickets they are paying out
- GreasyPalm is paying me £30 due to Sun Bingo tracking and I had £10 in there I could not get out. Nice bonus

Lovely to have the weekend here time to chill out match bet, play golf, go to the gym and see my friend.
Had a nice email from Betfair into DH account last night. Bet £50 and if it looses they pay you back. I bet on a horse at high odds and it lost. £48 straight profit - nice. Betclick gave me €10 if I deposited €10. Played some low hands of BlackJack and Roulette and took out €28 still have €15 to play with. Nice again. Also managed to get a great match on a horse and if it wins it could be a £200 free bet. Now that would be nice.
Going to buy a micro drive to back up my PC before I install Office 2007. Can't risk loosing everything. Also going to get a nice new memory stick as my old one is broken so doesn't fit on the keyring anymore. I forget them if they are not on my keys.
Need to do a food shop have 125 points to get at Tesco on staple items so should go and to that but might see if DH fancy doing Sainsbury on his own as I hate going.
Take care hope you are all having a nice weekend.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi TG,
You're doing well on raising those extra funds! Saw the freebie bet and checked 2 accounts but no, Betfair don't like us  However you reminded me to check my emails and I do have a free £10 with PP though so feel a bit better.

Glad you got a free bet Floxxie it is worth checking those emails even if you do get a got of spam and rubbish too.
Got my memory sticks 1 for work £7 for 4gb and £14 for 8gb for home. Just backing up all my documents before I load Office 2007.
Done the MB for today, sadly no winners on Ladbrokes but I did do well yesterday with the free Betfair bet which is now on its way back into my account. Lost the last €10 on Betclick but £28 is good too. Did not bother with Will Hill today.
Played 9 holes of golf for the first time in 4 months and I played 1 over my handicap which pretty cool for me. Booked to play 9 tomorrow too. Nice and sunny so not bad playing golf in February. Even DH wasn't too cold.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Right quite productive day. Got a new catflap and made the old hole big enough to fit it. Now DH just has to drill the holes so it is secure. Cat not happy to come back in using it but hopefully he will get use to it. Will be nice not have other cats in the house.
Played 9 holes of golf not that billiantly but fine. Hopefully I will be OK for the weekend away.
Mugged a £5 bet on the Cup Final. £30 profit if it wins, £5 cash to play Black Jack with if it looses. Not really risk free but you only have to play 5 hands of BJ to get the money out.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Well we went for the cheaper magnet version instead of the infrared and he is not keen on it. Has sat outside looking in for ages. DH thinks he is too big for it. Well he will have to learn as I am not changing it and he used to have a magnet one.
Just got a chicken in the oven so can have some healthy dinner. Should have done my workout at the gym not done it at all this week but have done 2 classes and 18 holes of golf so think I am excused. Hope you are all having a nice Sunday evening.Save £12k in 25 No 49
