Thanks for the suggestions, Pandora thanks for the link I had forgotten about the proceedure hopefully it wont come to that. Seller only had 25 feedback and one was negative but fingers crossed it will be OK. I think I shall ask for £10 back that is a 1/3 incl postage for 1 item that is OK out of 3.
Just come back from Pilates first time since May feel really really good and made me realise how unfit I really am. Picked up the classes list and I can now book online so no excuse.
Still doing OK on the wine count this week. Have decided to start the week on a Sunday as I usually don't drink then and it is a nice way to start. This week I have only had 1 glass so I am quite please with myself.
Just started doing product testing for Litmus first I did an eye cream you had to use for 28 days. After 7 days my eyes hurt and the smell was so overpowering I gave up. They have just sent me a bodylotion which seems ok so far not too smelly. It does not pay much but it is quite fun to do as long as your eyes don't end up hurting ofcourse.
I used to do the surveys but gave up a while ago might get back into it as I have a £20 voucher I could claim. Every little helps as they said.
Final rant for today is that my Nationwide account log in stopped working (use Egg Money Manager) so asked for new detials. Just arrived today but their site is down so still can't get in. Really need to chech my MB accounts no idea where I am with anything. Signed up for Betdaq and placed my first bet. Still getting on with CanBet too.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Still nothing from ebay seller but I think I have to wait a set period before starting the dispute. They may be on holiday.
MB still on track, got my free £20 bet from 888 from GB winning over 14 gold medals. Someone found a nice arb and posted it. It was 41/34 so a whole £1.20 profit regardless of the result plus the £20 SNR bet back. Nice one. Stil got lots to do with CanBet so will put something on tonight.
Last night it was so cold in bed we shall have to get the heavier duvet out. Sad as it is only August. Might buy a new one as ours is quite old and looks a bit worse for wear. We now have a superking size bed and I am so tempted to get a superking size duvet. Only problem is that I have so much bedding for Kingsize and only 1 set for Superking. Not sure what to do. Other problem is that most of them seem to be two stuck together to make 1 Winter one and I really only need the Winter one 11 or 13 tog. Yet more money to be spent.
Today I have to call a whole host of my contacts and make appointments to go and see thme. I dont have enough for September so I need to get on with it. Hate kind of cold calling but needs must.
Hope you all have a nice day.
PS: Still only 1 glass of wine since Sunday wonder if I can make it to Friday.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi TG:hello:
I bought my kids' duvets from Ikea. They were quite well priced and seem to be wearing well. They are the ones that double up as summer and winter quilts by popping together. You probably only need 2 sets of bedding I think....

Ikea is a good idea I have bought some there before thanks for reminding me setmefree2.
Just booked flights to see my uncle in Malaga. Saw on the travel board that Ryanair had a sale on. I got return flights for the 2 of us with 1 checked in back all incl for £177. Not too bad as the times are really good and it is out on Bournemouth on a Weds back on a Sunday. Nice to have something to look forward too.
Other good news. Noticed the new sink was leaking a bit from the waste (think it needs tightening up) texted Mike and he called immidiately. He was planning to drop off some materials this evening anyway to start the cloakroom on Saturday. Wow that is quicker than I thought it would be.

Still nothing from Ebay seller and I can't start a dispute for 10 days. Will have to leave it for now as I can't do anything else.
Have a business lunch today actually more of a picnic so will have to be off in a mo to shop. Also need to post an Amazon book and my expenses. Work owes me £500 so that is quite nice. Getting a company credit card soon which will be nice.

Morning not been around as the site was down all Saturday really missed it actually.
Had a quite nice weekend, got soaked to the skin yesterday in a clubmatch and lost too. Nice day though but a long one as they got our times wrong. We got there are 11am and I was not out until 2pm to not home until 9pm.
Saturday was quite expensive as Mike was ripping out the cloakroom we decided to go out. Went for breakfast at the club which was only £10 for 2 so not that bad. Then went to look for a new duvet. Went to Debenhams but not too taken with those to tried John Lewis as I had £70 worth of vouchers from Pigsback. They had some lovely ones and we went for a nearly top of the range one for £230 but you do get two duvets one 9 tog and one 3.50 tog 90% goosedown and 10% goose feathers in Super King Size. Really really nice. Did not buy a second cover will look on Ebay. Speaking of Ebay still nothing and I have sent another note.
We then went to Tesco as they had sent us some money off vouchers with the statement. Don't seem to get vouchers for points just money. Spent £90 but got about £15 off so not too bad.
Beat Victor in MB as I got the Chelsea vs Tottenham result rigth so £5 free for me. Did not get the goal one correct I guessed 4 goals DH 5 but in the end there were only 2 in the two matches.
Sold a book on Amazon for £4.50 so need to send that. Also need to tidy up before Mile gets here as there are wet golf gear all over the kitchen and garage. Smells of wet dog.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Ebay buyer has finally been in touch saying she had been on holiday in Denmark which was why she had not seen my mail. All she said was she would speak to the post office and get back to me. Now I am not entirely happy about that I think she should have refunded me straight away but won't do anything yet. Best to keep it friendly. She must be a fellow Dane afterall.
Made my usual overpayment on the mortgage to cover last months interest as I like to see a nice rounded figure on my statement. I paid £53.09 in July and £52.87 in August so paying £1.71 a day now a drop of a whole penny a day. Barclays recons we have saved over £5000 since we remortgaged to an offset in 1999.
We have about £9000 savings offset on the mortgage but this will not last as Mike needs to be paid soon. I think he is only going to take a week doing the cloakroom and yesterday I agreed to a £250 bespoke showerscreen in the wetroom. A bit mad but the only option and I would rather sort it now that try to get him back later on.
Quite happy we can keep up with the MFi3 dispite new bathrooms just a case of not going too mad on other things. My visit to my uncle next month is only going to be the flights plus some spending money as we are staying with him and Christmas will be the same as we are staying with family in Denmark. I have a couple of short golf trips booked but they are not much and next years summer holiday is far to far away to worry about now.
MB has slowed down but will keep it going. Waiting for a signup bonus from Betdaq said they have passed it on to the promotions department. The £25 has tracked with Quidco so that is good. Going to East Grinstead today and then off to Somerset and Devon tomorrow for an overnighter. Need to book a hotel will see if I can get some nice cashback. Main criteria is that is has to be near my meeting and have free internet connection as my 3G card is still child locked.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Morning
Got the next bill for the bathroom works yesterday so can now do a proper break down
Goods from Bathstore £4,040.00
Bathroom Labour & materials £3,800.00
Ensuite labour & materials£ 2,800.00
Wetroom & decoration & fit £2,500.00
Underfloor heatingx2 £299.43
Extra material cost £442.00
Fitting of U/F heating & glass shelves £825.00
Bathroom tiles £707.40
Cloakroom tiles £80.64
Ensuite tiles £666.22
Cabinet £199.50
Cloakroom Light £20.00
8 Downlighters£212.59
Lightswitches £50.00
Radiator Valves £48.00
So we have now paid a total of £16,708 and that only leaves us to pay for the cloakroom and a showerscreen. Cloakroom labour and material should be about £1200 and screen £250 so all it on should be just over £18k.
Strange that it is that figures as that is what I currently have left on the mortgage. Had temporarely add £5500 to the mortgage but with our savings it should work out that we have not technically increased the mortgage.
Off for an overnighter today and the hotel does not have wifi however it is very nice and I really like staying there.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi TG,
I read about your trouser problem - hope you don't mind an off the wall suggestion?
I lived in Holland for a year or so, and was able to buy tops and shoes easier than in the UK (I am short but not thin, stocky, rather an fat, and have wide feet - makes me sound like a troll)
In the Netherlands, everyone is tall, and sometimes quite sturdy and fit/sporty and the clothes reflected that. 6ft for the women is not unusual (I think you posted that you were 6'2''?)
I just wonder whether a mini break to Amsterdam might yield you some cheap trousers?
I used to get stuff in Vroom and Dreesman

Hi TG,
As far as I'm aware the Post Office will only be interested if it got damaged and it'd been sent to you Special Delivery.
We sold a vase on Ebay a few years ago, bubblewrapped it beyond belief and it still got broken. As we were just starting out we didn't want a negative so, on receipt of a picture of offending article, we gave a full refund including P&P as, I believe, it was our duty to get it to the buyer in the condition stated in the sale.
I hope your ebay seller will be understanding but I don't think she'll get any joy from the Post Office.
Good luck,
