    Hi TG
I've decided! My tax-exempt savings plan will be DUMPED as of posting my letter tomorrow. I got an early surrender value- 2 years to go and I reckon I am level-pegging with what I would have got from just sticking it in a high interest account. So I'm going to have my cake and eat it- the redemption value is going into my ISA. This is my bathroom fund (and emergency fund) so it's going to sit in there for when I get to buy beautiful tiles! And my measily £25/month- well, that's going to my mortgage- and I'm going to round it up to £30- I won't feel the difference, but I know it'll pay be back handsomely over the forthcoming years.

After this flurry of activity, I need to draw up a winter budget- I can't believe it's so chilly at the moment- I've got a vest on! Bright green, clashes with my pink top, but I'm snug. And I REFUSE to put the heating on in July :rotfl:

Have a great time in Denmark- hope it's a bit warmer there. Think of me sandpapering the ceiling (with my lovely goggles on) !!

Smithhills that is great news you will need that money for tiles trust me there are so many lovely ones. Having a nice time in Denmark. Lovely to see my sister and the kids. Just sorted out all the dolls ready for sale if it all sells we stand to make £120 profit not bad for an outlay of £130. The kids are lovely but hard work I might have got second thoughts about having any of my own feel so old when I see how much hard work they are.

Sounds like it is a bit cold in the UK. Its ok here just a few showers but not too bad. Went to a small town today that had a pirate treasure hunt for kids. They are a shop selling bathroom stuff and some very very nice stuff indeed. Things like loo roll holders, hooks, soap dispensers etc pricey but perfect. Can't wait to do some proper shopping. Miss MB a bit, but I am sure I can stay off it for a while. Take care

Gosh have I been shopping in Denmark spent so much money but got lots of bargains. My dad also owed me a birthday present and a Chistmas one so he bought a lot of it. I got black towels and red towels as well as loo roll holders and other assessories. Very nice clean Scandinavian Design. Wish we could get that in the UK.

Sun has come out and it was about 27 degree so very nice. Today we are played golf, first time since we have been here. Hope you are all OK

ahhh, I couldn't remember when you were in Denmark - hope you are enjoying yourself. Weather sounds lovely too - it has been warmer here the last few days but is very muggy tonight and I think storms are forecast.

Fingers crossed the dolls sell, definately a nice little earner for you.

Glad you came out not too badly on the Canbet offer. The only MB I have done was with the Stan James freebies totalling £25 for the golf and darts predictor comps. Have to say I was luckier with my golf guesses than the darts ;)

    Have fun x

Quick hello from me on my way to my sisters before getting to the ferry on Saturday and back to UK on Sunday. Had a really nice birthday breakfast and will go and see my dad as well today. Lovely to see the whole family on one day, doesn't happen often to me.

Now that I am 38 I think I shall make some changes to the way I live day to day. I want to cut out the wine and go back to the gym. I will tell you more about that when I get home.

Not been doing any MB while on holdiay but got £34 from the Stan James offer in the end and £10 on DH account from Playboy. I also got £10 but could not claim it within one week so yesterday they sent me a £20 one. Nice. Betathome gave me a 5 euro birthday present. Take care oiff to pack the car.

Back in rainy old UK and that is a bit sad as the holiday is now over for this year. Nice to be back to the cat and my own bed but sad to have to leave the family. Mike has made some good progress in the ensuite and the cat survived but only just. He has got a big puncture wound on his chin so if that turns into an absess it is back to the vet. Can only just have happened today stupid cat.

Put the new red towels and soap dispenser in the Bathroom and it look really nice. Unpacked everything and started doing the washing but as I said it is rainning and we only got home at 3.30pm so have not done a lot.

Got my free money from Playboy, both of the initial free £10 turned into £20 as I left it more than a week. I also managed to win £8 so nice £48 pure profit.

Another spot the ball from Stan James gone with the Bell but we shall see.

Back to work tomorrow and as I said earlier in the week now that I am 38 I think it is time to change a few things so I shall post a list of the changes I want to make and there will be a few. The first two will be less wine more gym.

Welcome Back TG- what'cher doing?! Whilst you were away I got my little endowment paid out- that's now sitting in my rainy day/new bathroom ISA, and I dropped off my Standing Order at the the bank yesterday- so from 15th Aug, £25/mo going straight into the mortgage. And as I can mess around with the SO on-line, I can easily bump it up a bit to include little money-saving pennies that I've scraped together.

I'm decorating at the moment- number 2 bedroom, and have found some lovely William Morris wallpaper....oh dear!;)

Well done on the endownment Smithhills it will earn some nice interest while you consider what bathroom to have. £25 a month will soon add up too. Willam Morris is lovely and I know you like wallpaper so hopefully you can find it at a good price.

All is well here today. Sun is shining, to loads of washing on the line, dishwasher on and the house does not look too bad. Mike should be here ina bit but I must get on with some work as it is now 9.45 and I have only read one email.

Things are going to change and my weight is one of them, 12st 8 and I should be about 11st that is so gross I have never been that much before. First change is

    1. Cut down on Wine (I don't drink anything else alcoholic)
Plan: limit to 7 glasses (200ml each) per week

    2. Get my lower back more mobile and get fitter
    Plan: Go to the gym twice a week, 2 x 45min pilates & 2 x 45min in the gym

    3. Cut out biscuits, crisps and cakes completely from my diet. Limit on Latte's
Plan: Eat more for breakfast, make sure I have lunch at a sensible hour also when on the road.

That will do for starters but I will add more.

    Now on with the work......
