Just a super quick update as I need to leave in a mo

    Boiler fixed £188.88

Hospital appointment to remove mole on Friday taking the day off sick (manager suggestion not mine)

Money spent of clothes over the weekend

Long Tall Sally £140 (most expensive was a £55 skirt) but also got 3 long sleeved tops and some tights)

Golf Shop £75 for 3 golf shirts as it was too hot to wear what I had brought with me. All designer label stuff and at least 1/2

Spend a bit on drinks and lunches but not too bad considering it was a posh place. Worth it as it was a fab weekend.

Still not had that discussion with DH and feeling really crappy at the moment so not sure when is a good time.

Off early today so catch up later.

  • Sneaks in with some big hugs and a pinch of bravery for you. He is probably aching to talk to you about the subject too but doesn't know how, this could be a big relief all round.

Thanks still not done yet it went to the gym instead which was good though. Got the letter from the doctor I can book the appointment for the two of us online and I have to have the blood test done first so actually there is no rush. (I know I am kidding myself).

I think my reluctance to do it is that I think he actually does not want children. He always said I do not want to be an old dad like mine and he is 49 this year so don't blame him. I agree though that we need to have this chat and if he really does not want any I have to accept it don't I?

Loads of work to do but have managed to do my expenses and the chart for MFi3 this morning plus open a Barclays ISA. I know it is not the highest rate one but at least I have them in 1 place for now and I can always transfer them later on.

Dietwise I have been really good no alcohol and loads of salads and pasta with no butter or cream.

Take care all will update soon.

"I think my reluctance to do it is that I think he actually does not want children."

If you haven't discussed it for a while, you don't really know what he is thinking - he may feel that as you haven't raised it, then you no longer want them Get it discussed before it is finally too late and you BOTH regret not having children. It isn't easy at any age, but somehow you do get through it. I didn't have my daughter until I was in my mid-thirties, and it hit me hard, but I am still young enough to get on with it and not be too much of an old fuddy duddy.

It won't be easy, but you do need to broach the subject sooner rather than later.

What a hectic day had a good meeting with work but some bad news about the competition which means I have lost one of my customers but hopefully only for 3 months.

Got a call to say I needed to decide what company car I wanted by 5 pm tonight. Options were Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 Sports or VW Passat 2.0 Estate as I have.

I have loved having a big car so really was not sure but managed to get my neighbour to give me a spin in his (same model) and it went nicely quite sporty actually. Had a bigger boot than the golf (not as big as the Passat). However the big issue is the tax and the Audi will save me £500 in tax a year over the Passat so that is what I went for. We might get logo's on them which means I save even more. Being ordered today so should get them soon. Will miss the satnav but they will get us TomTom's instead so that is OK.

Still not talked to DH but going out for dinner tonight at Ask 2nd meal for £1 so hopefully then. Need to water the veg patch before I go.

Final chart now on MFi3 if you want to have a peak.
