Remember that two adults (and kids) at same address can optionally share Kindle books.  I enjoy some of my partner's reading choices.  Not sure the converse is true!

I suspect the Mrs Kindle may be too old for the book sharing - not all kindle versions support it.

Just purchased my 4th Kindle - Still got my first that packed up so I bought a paperwhite around 2013 that died in 2016 so onto 3rd - that started playing up a couple of months ago - sometimes it works BUT last year plugged my 1st in (found it in a drawer) and it works,. So now I have Three on the go but I have around 2,500 books and enjoy reading them - usually have 3 books on the go at any one time.

Did you download your books to local storage (when this was still possible) or are you happy with Amazon "looking after" them for you?

Both - My original Kindle which started working again has the books on the others are a mixture.
Might add the original idea was to save me money as I never seemed not to come back from a shopping trip without several books but I do still buy physical books.

I've got this sorted but really don't need all the 50 (?) books that Mrs B has downloaded in the last 15 years!!!
I've had a bit of a play trying to delete some of them (using my PC) as I'm struggling to see the wood for the trees! 😉
However, I don't want to/daren't delete them from her Kindle - is this possible?

You can set the settings to only see books you've downloaded  -- are you doing family sharing with you each having your own account? Or are you using a single Amazon account for both?
