You can set the settings to only see books you've downloaded  -- are you doing family sharing with you each having your own account? Or are you using a single Amazon account for both?
We both have individual accounts, so we must be doing 'family sharing', but as I'm 'new' I haven't downloaded anything myself ... yet ... but have a couple of my books on her account!
Just remove it / them from your kindle
Is it possible from my PC? Or if not, how do I do it in the kindle?

If you're doing family sharing, your wife can change the settings to only share certain things - so let's say she had  the latest Robert Harris novel, if you wanted to read it she could share that... But not say the Lianne Moriarty novel she's currently reading if you have no interest.

When you start downloading, then she'll also get your stuff

But we've already done the sharing and all her 54 books seem to be on my kindle!
Sorry, I'm new to all of this! 🤭
I would like to delete most of them from my kindle without deleting them from her kindle! 🤷‍♂️

If she turns off the sharing I think they'll disappear from your Kindle.

Unless you've clicked to download the titles individually on your device.

I've not done anything on the kindle yet - scared about breaking something with my fat fingers!  :D

So turn off sharing generally, then share the books you want from her kindle manually, and then download those titles to your kindle.

More simple is for her to share all, and you just download the ones you want to read, and only show the ones you have downloaded on yours,

I've done this and I *think* that's fixed it - then just done "add to library" of the books I fancy

But then I was drowning in books I didn't want to see.

    Thanks both
