So the random adventure at the weekend was excellent, a trip utilising bargain euro* tickets from the last 'sale' which we combined with a music festival. Many steps of exploring but I am still behind @greenbee for step count on the month.
99p frittered today on the K1ndle copy of Felicity Cloake Completely Perfect. I must actually read the bean based book I bought a few weeks ago as I have a dry bean/pulses mountain to use up plus a huge bit of paneer.
The garden has once again escaped my control thanks to all of the rain. Definitely a smaller garden going forward, it needs to be a source of joy rather than the current faint despair.
Earworms of the week are mainly The Cure because I was listening to the Acoustic Hits album. A thanks again to everyone who said to watch 'Mixtape' which has been a rich source of nostalgic music and influencer of decisions in recent months.

Oh dear! £1.98 frittered here on a very reduced !!!!!! Francis & Clive Cussler. The end of my Xmas/birthday gift cards & leaving me with a 1p cc debt. I know I haven't read the Clive Cussler & if I have read the !!!!!! Francis then at least I know it was nearly 30 years ago. I just hope they come up with more like that.

I don't mind investing 99p in nostalgic reads @badmemory - I hope you enjoy yours.
Today's kindle temptation is an Enid Blyton on deal of the day, one of the enchanted wood ones I think. Currently resisting and will probably forget as I am busy today.
I am away later (cat sitting) and I want to fill the second green waste bin before I go as I will only be renewing for one bin this time. Hoping the rain holds off long enough for my washing to dry as well. Also need to order big bins again as I may have clearance help for the BH weekend.I haven't done anything about house clearance people, although I have some contact details. I have a written list of the bigger tools and have started looking at second hand values on those. The challenge is that I don't know what some of them are, or which things are the most expensive.
And I've just remembered that I am supposed to be taking a pile of wood with me today for a carpenter neighbour so it's a good job it's not raining. I'd best get on with sorting that first. At least it'll be another big pile removed from the outbuildings, and not into landfill at least.

There must be a FB page or somesuch where you can upload pics of the tools and people will help identify them. Maybe even a section on here, where do all the builders hang out on MSE?

Could you do a G00gle image search to find out more about the tools?

Mr SA has so many tools he’s hanging on to just in case 😞
I used to loved The Cure back in the day, still enjoy hearing their songs on the radio. My favourite is A Forest ❤️

Thank you for the suggestions, I am working through the emails for tool orders which gives me a model and original cost, the tricky part is then finding the thing itself in the workshops, despite pictures on websites. Trying to do a logical structured spreadsheet.
Lots of wood left the building which was a result.
I finally used the paneer up and have two new new favourite meals as a result, both vegetarian for once.
Chilli Paneer here
Oven roasted sweet potato and paneer tikka masala here. Used tikka masala curry paste. I added my soaked paneer after 15 minutes, and added spinach for the final five minutes of cooking. Reheated well on day two, added more cream when I re-heated it as a lot of the sauce was absorbed.
For both dishes I cubed the paneer, and then gave it 5 minutes in hot water before draining.

Thanks for the recipes. Have paneer. Must pick spinach before it takes over the planet… (which means there's probably enough for one portion 😂).
Good luck with the tool identification. Maybe you could turn it into a party game?

Recipes look good especially the first one. I’ve only ever had paneer once at a restaurant but I see tofu would work and I’ve always got plenty of tofu in stock.
