Sounds like everything is coming along nicely, well done you
Make sure to wear boots to the high energy standing gig in case there's a wee mosh pit! 🍻

Thanks for the boots tip PIP, I think that is a good call! I have some rather lovely chunky knee high DM boots that need breaking in, I suspect they would be perfect foot defenders if i can get them to comfortable wearing.
Quite a bit done over the weekend with some assistance with outside tasks including the conifer branches. I need to remember to tell DS that it needs to be chopped down for the green waste bin as I can't touch it.
I rehomed lots of veg seed that I wont be able to use this season, although I kept the herb seeds.
Lovely sunshine this morning but currently all I have done is a tub trugs worth of weeding. Must snap out of the lethargy and get some exercise if nothing else.
A good weekend foodwise, I made tandoori chicken and this cucumber and radish salad, this carrot salad and these lime baked sweet potatoes. I was gifted some spices - fenugreek, kashmiri chilli powder and some black mustard seeds. This is to improve the tandoori chicken and gunpowder potatoes (in case I can't remember why I wanted them!).

That lime sweet potato recipe looks great. Love the sound of the DMs!

Very busy off line at the moment but at least making some progress with house etc.
The kashmiri chilli powder worked really well for the tandoori chicken and was a definite make again, vaguely followed this recipe. Much nicer than when I have used pre mixed spices. I must make something with the cauliflower and potatoes - either aloo gobi or gunpowder - which I can then freeze. Still haven't done anything with the paneer either. Must remember that I am out of frozen ginger.
I was away overnight, and had planned to play in the garden in the sunshine when I got back but the eldest has actually left the building so I am planning on being ruthless in his bedroom whilst casting envious eyes at the lovely weather. Just waiting to put my second load of washing out on the line before I don protective clothing and brave his room. So far I have opened the window and quickly left again. The joys of neurodivergence and me being rather adverse to conflict mean that it has been allowed to slide back in to chaos.
If I am not back to report in a few hours please send a hazard team and some real coffee and chocolate.

My DS is a lot older than yours & I won't even go in there. Frankly it is enough to give someone claustraphobia. As for opening a window, well I would have to find it first.

Ooh, good luck! I was regretting taking everything out of the greenhouse to give it a good scrub, but I think I've probably got the better deal in this case 😬

You've been gone for over 7 hours now. Should we call the emergency services?
