You all made me laugh with your teabag votes, I will keep the Tw1inings English Breakfast for the workers and will move onto the next box which is the dregs of a box ofY0rkshire G0ld.
I can't actually buy any of my preferred teabags without going to a big supermarket which is is not happening on weekend. My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

Definitely stock up properly when you next go. And make sure you use up all the nasty teabags on the workers and never buy them again...6

I cleared my cupboards out the other week and brought four boxes of opened tea bags to work. All rejected by me 🤔🤣. I thought someone will drink them at work and left them in the staff room. They weren't there when I got back so assume some poor fool, perhaps with dodgy taste buds took them. I went out and bought my usual...I have to go to the big SM for my favoured ones too (clipper organic) so when I'm low I always think I'll try cheaper/ other brands and ultimately it's a waste of money as they all get rejected to varying degrees. Drinking tea is a serious exercise to get right. 🤣Emergency Fund- £697.777

Drinking manky tea is not something anyone should ever do - life is way too short, MSE or not! I learned my lesson about this the hard way when I bought a catering size bag of Typhoo a few years ago...🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I can confirm that I did indeed crack and buy six 'on offer' boxes of my tea of preference.
Lots going on here. Long term readers may recall that I really am not a dog person, and inherited poor Doglet. I tried my best but she was stressed, lonely and chewing holes in herself, and in things, so I had the choice of get her a friend or rehome her with a friend of the family. The right thing was to find her a home where she could once again be the centre of attention and someone's adored princess. She has been in her new home for a week now and is happy and thriving. This household is shrinking at a steady pace!
One of the things she had chewed beyond repair was the sofa, so yesterday I dismantled it and have taken the upholstery to the tip today. More to go tomorrow. A small investment in a good quality second hand oak framed sofa bed from FB Marketplace was collected yesterday so there will be something to sit on, and which should help when we are decorating and moving things round. I had completely stopped using the Snug as it was full of memories and dog so this is a big move round with the intention of actually using it and the wood burning stove as my main sitting place rather than living in my tiny study when I am downstairs. Big house, actually use 20% of the space 80% of the time!
As part of this I also went through the main downstairs bookcases again, £80 from selling books, 4 boxes for the charity shop and three floor to ceiling height bookcases thinned down to one. This afternoon I plan to take everything off those bookcases, dust and wax the wood, clean the books and then put it all back. This will make space for the same job to happen on the last few unsorted shelves upstairs. Over the last year I have reduced my books by at least a thousand. Clearly kidnapped by aliens, but i never want to live surrounded by clutter again. My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++
