International flights are very different hence wanting to know from those who have experience rather than just guess based on the limited bits I could find on their website.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Inflight Shop and Café | TUI.co.uk
Which is where I got the link to the inflight cafe from.
You are welcome.0 -
@la531983
Thanks again. Nothing on this discusses inflight entertainment that I could see. But it's all irrelevant now that I've come back from my holiday.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I've just flown TUI from Birmingham to Corfu - I had the cheese and ham toastie with a cuppa and a small tub of Pringles as a meal deal on board which cost £9.50. The toastie on its own was £5.85 and the tea is £3.40.
In Brum airport the big Boots in the departure lounge sadly closed last year. The WH Smiths there now charges £6.99 for a meal deal which boggled my mind as the Boots meal deal was under a fiver IIRC.
Apparently on TUI flights more than 3.5 hours you can pre order meals but I don't know how rigid this is as I'm sure some people bought the breakfast pre order meal.
There was an entertainment QR code on all the seat backs but when I scanned it the TUI network just wouldn't show on my WiFi options. I did ask an attendant but they didn't know why it wasn't working. I suspect it may just be for long haul flights only.2
