What's available on Tui flights?

OH has stated that taking food on board is not allowed. I find this hard to believe given the many dietary restrictions people have. Anyways I've made some sandwiches which we'll eat before departure and will fill my water bottle as advised. Unfortunately none of the headphones I have will work with our phones so I guess we'll stick to reading or napping.

I would think that they would offer to sell you a bottle. There is no obligation to provide free water due to your oversight0 -

Yes. However, we can't provide heating facilities on board - although for infants, we are able to warm bottles of milk in hot water.
Therefore, we would advise low-risk food such as pre-made sandwiches and snacks that can be eaten cold.

As above, totally incorrect.
Always best to check the official website.
Flew with TUI a week or so ago.
The toastie delivered to the chap sat next to me looked nothing like the photo in the magazine.0 -
Most of this thread could have been avoided had the OP looked at their website, tbf0

If somebody had an expectation to take medication then they should plan to have the wherewithal to achieve it and not rely on somebody else0 -

We're not talking a blood transfusion kit here, just some water.
I know the cabin staff are on commission so try to flog you as much stuff as they can, but even I have managed to get a cup of water out of EasyJet (eventually, having reminded them).0 -
It's always best to rely on yourself than others.
I wouldn't assume that short haul airlines would provide water.
They may well do but I'd have my own water with me (always good to avoid dehydration) so no need to ask cabin crew.0 -
Anytime I've requested a plastic cup of water on a TUI flight there has been no problem.0

There is a finite supply.
I wouldn't expect to be provided water for free.1
