    I am so impressed @greent!
Though if DS1 is old enough to work he can bleach his own lab coat 😁

Oh that is such a satisfying OAT/prevention to get done @KajiKita, exactly the sort of thing that unnecessarily brings a bit of annoyance into every day unless you just do it, very much like handwashing, especially bras @greenbee
Annoying about the plumber, hopefully he'll get in touch pronto.
Might be worth seriously considering the heat pump while the grants are still available, it is extra hassle and temporary cost but who knows when this or any govt will decide that's a thing that can be abolished to make a saving
We are having to do this imminently so doubtless will be complaining about it on my diary soon 😁

It was pouring with rain yesterday and the plumber didn't come back but the workman and the plumber have both turned up early this morning so hopefully some progress will be made today!

Plumber answered the phone today as he's finally moving. He'll be at the other end of my road. And as the house has been empty for years it'll be filthy, cold, and damp, so he may prefer to be at work than home (and doing work close to home too).

Cannellini beans finally done in IP, dog towels in the WM as it's sunny and then they'll go on the line. There are already more filthy dog towels to go in after them!

    Wild flower turf sounds fabulous!

OAT mission planning in place here:

We've started talking about the various house jobs we want to get sorted, so need to get thinking and check the list that I made before I think.

I'd also like to get the freezers sorted and a longer term meal plan  made - although right now just getting a week at a time done is proving effective. We HAVE to eat through some of the stuff lurking now - I've been saying it for a ridiculous amount of time!

I also want to do more in the way of clearing out in the shed - but that might meet resistance from MrEH. A good starting point would be for us to crank up production of the paper bricks ready for fire fuel for the winter months, as that would shift some of the newspaper collection!

The new WM might mean that the autumn/winter weight duvet can be washed - if so, then that's a job for the list. If not, it will go on the bed regardless. the summer one meanwhile can definitely be washed as and when it's taken off the bed!
OK - so things I HAVE done:
    - Freezer sorting is underway - albeit we added some more bits at the weekend in the shape of stuff brought back from the rather lovely food festival we went to.
    - Longer term meal plan was indeed done - and is being well adhered to, I'm pleased to say.
    - Some more paper bricks have been done, but I fear we're going to be some way short of a full supply this year, as I can't see they're likely to dry out fully now if we do any more. Not least as I want to remove the plastic cover from the mini greenhouse now, ideally.
    - Autumn/winter duvet ended up getting pressed straight into use as I needed it for the spare bed when I slept in there while I had covid.

For the first time in ages this week we have a mostly free weekend so we need to tackle STUFF.
    - Add to extended meal plan - another fortnight at least
    - Get MrEH to send the email to the allotment chap from the council or just give in and DIMFS.
    - Get the cover off the mini greenhouse
    - move mini greenhouse frame into the office - maybe we can get away with drying more bricks in there? At the least though it will help the frame not spend all winter getting attacked by the weather, and mean that we can...
    - ...get more of the panels sanded and painted on the office wall!
    - Strip remaining fruit from tomato plants
    - bag up spent tomato plants ready to take to the tip
    - strip remaining fruit from pepper plants & compost plants
    - Cut runner beans down and remove frames.
    - Walk or drive to the community farm to see if they still have their seed swap in place
    - Brainstorm about house jobs to be done - remember to list electrical stuff ready to get electrician details from Mum.
    - Financial wrangling (needs doing tonight or tomorrow) for end of month.
    - Once the online details arrive I need to fund two savings accounts that have been opened for cashback
    - once the pin number arrives I need to activate the TSB card
    - Once the online details arrive I need to activate the TSB app banking
    - Once the online details arrive I need to fund the TSB account - £1k in, then withdraw £850 will meet the requirement AND leave my monthly spends where they need to be.

It is @KajiKita I just need to think of one now. I wasn't expecting them to get back to me so quickly 😆
