Genius @Wednesday2000 I've been meaning to buy new black jeans for ages, I completely forgot that black dye existed and I could rejuvenate the pairs I already have.

I did mine last year. Worked waaaay better than I hoped 😊rachmac3 said:Genius @Wednesday2000 I've been meaning to buy new black jeans for ages, I completely forgot that black dye existed and I could rejuvenate the pairs I already have.
Did a teeny-weeny OAT today … Cleaned the removable, push fit lid to my kettle - took it off and had at it with a little washing liquid and hot water. One good rinse later and it was transformed. A job that took about a minute, where the level of satisfaction is way beyond the input! 😉😊👏🤩

10 books boxed up for WOB. £6 is better than nothing.
The ones they didn't want have been put to one side by the front door, either to try sellitback or to take to the charity shop. I really need to get a bag to fill with charity shop stuff.
Another layer of mortar put in the wall around my boiler flue.
I've pulled a few things out of the airing cupboard to bin and/or sell. Hopefully there will be decent light in the spare bedroom tomorrow for me to take some photos for Vntd.

@rachmac3 that's great progress, hope your listings go well.
Another sale on Vinted to post today, this means I'm up to 22 items sold now. Delighted to have started this and I think the house is feeling a bit lighter. :-)https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6621582/ynab-robber-needs-help-to-execute-the-plan/p1

I think I might be buying all the books the rest of you are listing… but at least I’m making an effort to buy used, and not via Amazon if at all possible.House feeling better here after a car load was dropped at the CS. Running shoes and too small walking boots given to my cleaner for her daughter to try. Next CS box started.
i’m now putting everything back in the newly decorated bedroom/ensuite (slowly). Carpet fitters due tomorrow and they’ll help me out the big bits of furniture back, so I need to remove the contents of the airing cupboard from the top of the mattress (plumber may still need access to the airing cupboard so it can’t go back in).
Next big task is to get the plumber to commit to a date so that I can book the electricians and carpenters before the decorator comes back.8 -
Sink and shower cleaned. They were both past the point where I look at it and think that's disgusting.5

Broad beans, peas, and spinach sowed.5

I pulled out the dead veg from the large bed at the end of the garden and weeded it. My poor niwaki hoe broke. It has served me well. I finished off with my hori hori and the chickens are having a good scratch around. I'll need to decide whether it needs another going over or whether to just shove some compost on top and sew some green manure. As I'm lazy it's likely to be the latter.
I've also thrown some very out of date veg and pastry from the freezer. It's very nearly empty!

Nice to hear lots of Sunday wholesome productiveness 😊
I have achieved an OAT of me and Mr PIP doing hardly anything other than what we wanted to do, and when. This might not sound productive, and I know I sometimes call being lazy a win, but we honestly haven't had a Sunday where we haven't pushed ourselves to do extra build admin or life admin/jobs for I don't know how long, months though. Very pleased, and to no-one's surprise, we're both feeling more chilled and content! 🥂https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1
