My boiler was serviced, and he's given me some tasks to do ASAP. So more DIY on the weekend because I was lucky he signed it off.
I did another bit of mortar on the wall there's still another patch to do but I'm not sure how much longer the dry spell will continue. I'll have still made some improvements even if I don't quite finishing patching it all up. The garden should get flooded less than usual.
Gas meter reading submitted.
Only 1 item Olio'd out of my house so the decluttering has slowed somewhat, but I've been back at work so I'm cutting myself some slack.Debts 04/01/25 01/11/25

I booked the boiler service in and rang a chimney sweep. Hopefully the sweep will call backMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
One more layer of mortar done on the wall and rain forecast so that might have to be the end of it for the time being. I'm a little bit looking forward to some rain so I can see how well the wall holds it!

I had to wake up early as I have an Amazon delivery. I ordered some fabric dye as I am going to give some of my clothes a new lease of life. I might take a before and after pic to put on here. The workman is calling up today to say what day he is starting the work on our house too. I have my 29th class of the year tomorrow.
I booked it yesterday along with a book event. 4 -
I did a little bit of decluttering over the weekend. Is it worth trying to sell books? I don't think they're worth anything but if any knows it'll be you lovely lot.
I also started filling the hole around the boiler flue which is a horrible messy awkward job.

I have ordered more dog food (dog is looking skinny, I'm feeling guilty), and cut down the climbing beans. Very poor borlotti harvest this year.4
