    Wild flower turf sounds fabulous!

OAT mission planning in place here:

We've started talking about the various house jobs we want to get sorted, so need to get thinking and check the list that I made before I think.

I'd also like to get the freezers sorted and a longer term meal plan  made - although right now just getting a week at a time done is proving effective. We HAVE to eat through some of the stuff lurking now - I've been saying it for a ridiculous amount of time!

I also want to do more in the way of clearing out in the shed - but that might meet resistance from MrEH. A good starting point would be for us to crank up production of the paper bricks ready for fire fuel for the winter months, as that would shift some of the newspaper collection!

The new WM might mean that the autumn/winter weight duvet can be washed - if so, then that's a job for the list. If not, it will go on the bed regardless. the summer one meanwhile can definitely be washed as and when it's taken off the bed!

Door curtains up in the kitchen, so hopefully the dog won't be spooked by whatever it is that makes him bark at night! It should be a bit warmer and a bit less draughty too.

I tackled an OAT I'd forgotten all about last night - we have a wooden magazine file box where all the appliance paperwork, manuals etc live, and another that has been used for all the stuff to do with the move/house. Unsurprisingly bearing in mind I've never been through the second since we moved in, just added to it, and not been through the first since we moved, there was a fair bit of stuff to clear out of both.

Took a small pile of broken/mismatched/unused silver jewellery to the pawnbrokers, which has been loitering on the OAT list and was threatening to become very outstanding. Silver doesn't sell for much, but better a few quid in the build fund than bits sitting around

I'm feeling frustrated at not being able to get anything done. Blood test was a disaster, she couldn't get any. She's the nurse that took my blood in April/May when they didn't test for the thing I asked. I've got to go back tomorrow for another nurse to try.
Getting nowhere fast with the storage stuff, conversations are being had but that's all. I was going to go down there tomorrow but now I have to go back to the docs.
I am off work and meant to be resting but I'd still like to do something useful!!
I'll have to live vicariously through you lot for the next few days.
