Off work with covid. Had a short burst of energy and tried on 2 pairs of previously too small trousers - they are now literally falling down on me, so they've gone in the charity bag. Another 2 identified to try on later - I think they will both end up in the vinted pile.
Had planned on finally processing all of the fruit - but am too exhausted!
We bought a robo vac in lockdown - and I love it! A godsend at any time, but particularly when 4/5 of us are currently unwell. Realised that a handbag that I keep clothes pegs in would be much more useful being listed on vinted!
Listing done, after only about ten years of regularly seeing the handbag 🤦♀️https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

The problem is @Wanna_bee_free it's my father's stuff not mine, he's in NZ and getting him to make decisions is proving rather tricky. We managed to downsize from 50sq ft to 25sq ft at the start of the year. Boxes get taken out of storage, sit in my house for months, very few decisions are made, and half of it goes back in the storage unit eventually. BUT!! Focus!! Determination!!! I can get this done!!!Debts 04/01/25 01/10/25

Oh wow Rachmac, that's a whole different level you have to deal with. Is it worth pricing up a UPS shipment to deliver it out to him in NZ and then back again? I wonder how many months storeage charges that would be. I bet more would go if he could see and touch it.
I am delighted with a second Vinted sale overnight from this week's flurry of activity and lots of stuff favourited so I am impatient to see it leave the house now.4 -
Forgot to say get well soon @greent and PiP loving that you keep your clothes pegs in a hand bag! (Best Lady Bracknell voice!)3

Yesterday I bought mortar mix and a pointing tool to fix the leaks in the wall of the gully that diverts rain water from my (and every house higher than me) garden.
It's the gully I pulled 3 buckets of soil out of last weekend.
I'm hoping that now I can see where it's leaking, if I seal those bits I'll have a less boggy garden and possibly less frequently a paddling pool on my patio.
I've watched a few YouTube videos.
Now I just need a few dry days in a row to get it done.
Did I mention I live on a hill in Wales?😂
So more OAT prep than completion but putting it here to help me stay motivated.Debts 04/01/25 01/10/25

I use a handbag for clothes pegs. Easier as you can put it over your shoulder and this frees your hands up to the washing basket out.
The handbag belongs to my mother. I kept it as a memory/ inheritance,as she is in a nursing with late stage dementia.I am a Senior Ambassador on the Competitions Time Board and the Old Style MoneySaving Board.

Finally stripped the cover off my summer duvet. That went in the wash this morning and the duvet itself got bagged up and put away in the cupboard over the stairs, waiting for next spring 😊
Cleared the greenhouse of dead plants, harvesting what was left of the tomatoes and then stripped and disassembled the sweet pea structure.
A good start made in jobs that needed doing 😊

Finally I have an OAT to share! 😂 Cleared out the cupboard inthe kitchen that we keep open packets of, well, everything, in.
All nice and tidy now, and everything back in organised plastic tubs - one for rice/pasta/noodles etc, one for lentils/seeds etc, one for sugar etc. Lots of multiples, so things have been consolidating and I think either pasta or risotto for tea tonight, use up some almost-empty things.
It's been grim in there for months and just getting worse and worse, so I'm glad I've finally done it!8
