  • More listings. I love olio. Was going to bin an old dirty and cracked mop and bucket but thought I'd put it on just in case, and someone collected it today. What a big chunk of metal and plastic being re-used 😊

Work still busy - big hump tomorrow - cross your fingers for me …

Ordered repeat prescription as I will run out before my next blood test.

Submitted meter readings for both electricity and gas to both the new supplier and the old one, pretty much simultaneously.

Mr KK has replaced the brick in the back of the wood burner. It hadn’t quite failed but almost.

    Thanks @redofromstart and @PennysIntoPounds 😊

Made a start on selecting photos from my dad’s emails for a calendar for his birthday next month.

Two pictures put up (lots left to go).
Monthly refund requested from Octopus (slightly lower than last month as there was less sun in September - or maybe I used more power).
New cash ISA opened. Tyres ordered and replacement booked for Monday. I'll do a CS drop-off at the same time - I might even go to the bank to work out how to do an internal transfer of an existing cash ISA to the new one.

I'll probably aim to do a CS drop-off tomorrow and maybe do some food shopping too.

Tree coming down at the front today, making more work as there'll be another pile of logs to process and a massive pile of chippings to deal with too.

  • Superb job @rachmac3

I have not done much but I did make the effort to chase a couple of vinted 'likers' and have two little sales to send tomorrow so pleased with that

I stayed in bed til 2, for my main priority of getting over this covid. When I got up I wanted to try and clean out a little gully in my garden. The rain comes down the hill through people's gardens and is supposed to run into it and into an extra drain. Instead it runs through my garden and onto my patio and brings all sorts of mud and debris with it. I can't find where it's leaking until I clean it out and see what's what.
3 buckets full of mud later! It's cleared! I can't see any obvious leaky places but the mortar between the bricks maybe needs replacing. That has been a (seemingly) mammoth job that has annoyed me since I bought the house 6 years ago. And I got it cleared in less than 2 hours with rests.
I'm feeling very pleased with myself.
I'm looking forward to a bit of rain now so I can figure out next steps.
That is an excellent example of an OAT, well done you!!

    Thanks @Cheery_Daff and @PennysIntoPounds
I really thought it was a mammoth job that would take at least a day! I took photos of the clean gully and sent them to 2 friends, I was that proud of myself 😂
