I felt like i was getting a cold @Wednesday2000 but gargled with TCP for a couple of days and it has b*ggered right off
Today I repotted some plants that had somehow turned into being on the to-do list for nearly a month!https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

I've done a bit of clothes decluttering this evening, including tackling the 'odd socks' basket i made MONTHS ago to house any odd socks I found in the wash, hoping to pair them up.
Needless to say, many of them were never found 🙄 And now they have mostly exited the premises, along with some pairs that were just too saggy/threadbare to be rescued.
I confess I have kept FOUR odd socks - they're all fairly new and I KNOW I've worn them recently. If they've not turned up by Christmas, they're out!5 -
OAT's ticked off: the last of the pictures hung on the walls, rooms tidied, curtains shortened and hung for the two remaining windows, and an old bench pressure washed ready for sanding and painting. Three metal grills also moved from orchard to barn to dry as these two are to be painted and hung on the wooden fence for climbers before the winter sets in. This last not a style statement but rather I found the metal grills whilst clearing and had the VNM (Very Nice Man) I live with cut them up and then I thought of what I could do with them. VNM cleared and repaired the gutters.
An excellent weekend.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
Thanks for the odd sock reminder @Cheery_Daff. As a result I got my OH to turf out his sock drawer for my missing sock and it was there. Down to zero odd socks now - thank you!3

Thanks from me as well for the reminder to put vinted on holiday mode, have done so today before heading off for a few days tomorrow.
Typical that after weeks of procrastinating about doing listings, now that it would be impractical to do any I'm annoyed that I can't 😁https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

It's definitely the season of fruitfulness - I have (large)bowls and bowls overflowing with fruit (and have given some away picked another bowl full tonight (still lots to come - maybe the weekend?) - need space in the freezers to be able to prep it!
I have got all of the ironing up straight. Not sure what else I've achieved OAT wise...I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £203 -
I did have a cough and a fever with the cold so I only just went out of the house for the first time just now to the shop and back.I have been pottering around the house decluttering the past few days as I didn’t feel ill enough to be in bed. I have booked to see Bryan Adams in December so I booked the hotel, the train tickets and called up to book my pets into the kennel.
The phone at my GP doesn’t seem to be working so I called another chemist and he said you can get flu jabs from the 1st Oct if you walk in.3 -
I finally did the listings of some academic books I'd been dreading doing for months. The dread was merited by my blimmin phone deciding for no apparent reason to swap pictures around and swap my pre-written descriptions around, which made it a much harder task.
But that category of listings is done, hurrah, and I will aim to do the few other academic books listings of a different category this weekendhttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

That is odd of your phone - glad you battled through!
I got two more things put on the bay of e which was more of a struggle than expected as it wouldn't load the photos. I also bought some things on Vinted and promised myself I will try and sell them on if no good. Now I know how thanks to this thread!
I didn't sew a stitch of my friends bag on Wednesday or Friday so that's my number one OAT for today or tomorrow.5
