I moved into over 55s accommodation and we have a laundry so everything is tumble dryed or the occasional t shirt on a hanger.
I do love iriong though so when I visit my son my daughter in law is so happy when I offer to iron2 -
I last used my iron the Saturday morning before the first covid lock down. I much prefer using my ironing board as a "table" for my jigsaw board. I bought a particularly high ironing board specially for that purpose.4

I’m shattered after a long day and have mostly admitted defeat so haven’t done any FBMP listings which I was hoping to get done tonight …
However, I have:
- Collapsed and put away the airer 👏
- Emptied the confetti from inside the cat box (dunno what Chloe was doing with the newspaper in there whilst at the Cattery but it was messy! 😂) and put it back down on the cellar 😊

I got my tyres replaced and they were cheaper than last time so I have an extra £20 for the holiday pot!
I also replaced my printer ink so I could print vnted labels. Two more things posted off. Transferred £10 from vnted to my holiday pot too!
I also phoned the vet to get the dosage of wormer for my tortoise. That's saved me about £40!Debts 04/01/25 01/10/25

My bank a/c has been credited with £10 for the torn tenner I sent off a couple of weeks ago. Happy with that as 2 halves of a tenner in a drawer were neither use nor ornament.
re-did the hem on my dad's jiggers that I didn't measure properly the first time. Another pair to do.
dropped 2 bags at the charity shop after driving round with them in the car boot for 2 weeks.

@rachmac3 I might be sounding patronising for which I apologise but all of the V postages I come across have digital labels options, just wanted to check you're not making life harder for yourself unnecessarily by not selecting that option when 'generating shipping label'?
Great work @Blackcats, love that you got your £10 reinstated as legal tender!
I hereby state that I will clean the fridge tomorrow. I have been avoiding doing it for no reason other than it is a minor faff to take everything out of it. I predict the entire job will take about five minutes, it only needs a little wipedown and any bits of stray crumb or veg leaf collectinghttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase

😂 my poor perimeno long covid brain couldn't cope with the digital labels, and I wasn't sure my village shop would either. I'd probably be ok as long as I did one at a time. When in doubt I go back to basics. I told myself I just had to get it done my way for now, and I'd learn the new way soon 😂Debts 04/01/25 01/10/25

You do it however best suits you @rachmac3!
When one selects digital label, they send an email with the label with the code, if that's helpful to know, you don't have to go back into vinted.
If it shows the village shop as being an acceptable drop off point then I expect they'll be set up to scan as well, but no harm in asking next time you're there. But do it however feels easiest for you, very pleased for you that you're up and running with it 😊https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase
