@rachmac3 slow and steady still gets to the same end and less chance of burning out. Well done on getting another item listed on there, hope it sells quickly for you.
Yesterday's OAT was tackling the dusty wire wastepaper basket in the study and giving it a good clean. It was so tempting just to put the new bin liner in and ignore it but I felt really pleased when it was done and it didn't take long.
I also managed to change 3 websites to remove my credit card and replace with a debit card. It was a harder OAT than I expected.
After finally moving my fabric stash and sewing stuff into a drawer that opens I am determined today's OAT to do at least 5 minutes on my current project. I woke up too early so feeling a bit too bleary but maybe I can risk it. I can certainly press the seams and tie off the loose threads. OH is making jokes about maybe I can give it to my friend by his birthday in April 2027. I said Christmas was quite realistic, which it is if I just get on with it.

Today's OAT was an unintended one - sorting out the giant pile of filing and chaos that threatened to leap off the shelf and onto the floor of my study.
All done now - big pile if recycling, envelope windows in the bin, and a pile to be shredded.
Sadly I didn't find the thing I was actually looking for so I'm going to have to tear apart a different bit of the house instead! 🙄4 -
Ooh, I found it! 😃 Mr C reminded me that he'd told me something had fallen down the back of a piece of furniture but he hadn't retrieved it and didn't know what it was - I'd forgotten he'd told me, and it was the very thing I was looking everywhere for. Hooray!

I spent yesterday afternoon repairing a friend's hand knitted blanket. It was made for him by his grandma 65 years ago and was fraying and looking very sad. I never knew his parents, let alone his grandma but I know they were refugees between the wars and I can see that every scrap of wool has been used and made into teeny tiny squares. It feels really good to be connected to the past and to keep the blanket going for a few more years. The fact that this was never on my OAT list needs to be overlooked 😉5

Todays OAT was to order remaining window stuff. Only I ordered the wrong size. Will sort that out in morning nowMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -

I had a rummage in the saucepan cupboard and decided to get rid of a scratched wok and a frying pan. I have newer ones already so should have got rid of them months ago.
