I did far too much yesterday (although very pleased at my increased energy levels) so today I must mostly rest up or I'll regret it.
I do have to get cracking on some of my father's things though as the auction drop off is this Thursday. I haven't even got to the storage unit yet, I'm still working through the stuff stored in my house. If I can get most of that done by Wednesday night I'll be happy. The storage unit can be started after holiday.Debts 04/01/25 01/10/25

Gifted damsons stewed.
Basin, sink, and bath plugholes, and shower traps all cleaned with bicarb and hot water. Shower traps de-haired.
Alternatives for most of my Amazon subscriptions found elsewhere, and Amazon subscriptions cancelled. Only one left (macadamia nuts).
Bits of cooking and laundry done.
Cat trapped multiple times to clip some broken claws and put disinfectant on wounds. She's not eating much (which is unusual) so I suspect a vet appointment will be on the cards - it might be she's feeling a bit second-hand due to the wounds. Or she might have sore teeth.2 -
oooo I love damsons! I have a damson tree in my garden but it's yet to give me any. I think I planted it about 3 or 4 years ago so hopefully soon.
I sorted out a drawer in the thingy by the front door and found banks statements and wage slips from 2019.Debts 04/01/25 01/10/25

Reporting that I did no sewing on Friday but made a bit of progress yesterday. Unfortunately I realised that when I started the bag in the first half of the year I misread the instructions so I unpicked my 4 sections that needed it, neatened up the loose threads and pressed open the seams. Next week I will sew the rest of my mistook and then I will be where I thought I was on Friday 5/9!
Today's OAT was lifting the lid of a big box of old school stuff and taking a quick look at the first 10 or so items. Probably gave it about 20 minutes this morning which was good as it is always an early start on Sundays. I can see it's so far a mix of precious stuff to keep and stuff I can recycle so I want to make progress on this box as well as sewing the bag.

Horses feed room bench cleared.
Started orchard clearing.
Made a decision about old wooden furniture.Bought spray paint for some old bits of metal I’ve found that could be used as a trellis for climbers
Added rubbish to skip.Excellent weekend.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -

Ironed two shirts for Mr KK ready for my birthday meal in late October / early November 😉
(It is so long since I ironed anything, genuinely years, I wasn’t sure if I would still be able to do it but it seems that particular muscle memory is well established!)

I sold my iron and gave away the ironing board. If it wrinkles and I don't like it, it goes to the charity shop immediately. No ironing done here.5
