Has anyone been able to log into their iweb account using the SW app? It looks like its not recognising my login details so I was wondering if its me missing something.
I can do this fine - at first I could only see the total and clicking on it generated an error, but now I can enter the share dealing 'bubble' and see and it looks like fully transact my iWeb investments in the SW app (I've not tried anything other than valuations at the moment though).

In any case, using an address that will be widely known makes little sense as part of a login that should be secure.  Asking for mother or father's first names, or where I grew up, as the web login currently does, doesn't add much to security either.

...although it does if the customer makes a habit of giving 'wrong' answers to these questions rather than factual ones.  Obviously don't give false answers to personal details questions which affect whether or not the financial institution will do business with you, but for 'security' questions giving made-up answers (and to avoid ambiguity very clearly made up ones are better) can be effective for enhancing security... like my mother's first name might be "oranges".
Sure, and many people will do that, but many others, probably the majority, will enter the facts as instructed. All of which are likely to be known to a number of people. An email address will be known to still more people, including staff at SW.

For sure! I suspect that, aside from biometric options, there will be 2FA instead of these questions. At least if they think it through, that is. But Im curious to see what comes out as Im not familiar what the current SW users have to input on the app till now.

The existing app requests an email and a password. As multiple Iweb accounts can currently use the same email address, I assume the app they intend former Iweb clients to use will accept their current username.  Would cause some problems otherwise, and it seems they've had more than they expected already.

My regular investments have taken place today, money was already in the ISA and has been deducted from the balance, pending trades now showing. Only issue is that the quantity numbers seem to be entirely fictitious, £50 investment shows quantity of 5000 shares, £100 one of 10,000 shares. When the shares are over £10 each it doesn't add up so I assume just a placeholder!
Mine is a recent divi that's just going into a money market oeic, and is showing similarly to yours - Amount £387.57, Quantity 38757, i.e. 1p per share.  The actual quantity will be more like 320 but won't be known until after the noon valuation. I'd guess it will be something else on their to-do list, once they figure out how.

Update. Pending now, 2pm, showing quantity as 325.5001, which sounds about right and based on the noon valuation.

Does anyone know at what time of day they do the stock trades?

Mine were at different times, one completed at 0930, the other at 11am

Thanks JJ.  I wonder if a pattern will emerge.  A very welcome new feature, especially as divi re-investment was a toppy 2%, max £5.

For regular investing is it right to say the account has to be pre-funded in order to set up a regular trade? There is no way to schedule, through SW, regular/automatic payment from bank accounts prior to the regular investing triggering? I may be missing something as I have never funded my iWeb account so I may not be seeing all menu options.

You can use the regular subscription option to fund the account ahead of the regular investment triggering.
