Maybe I do it too fast. I'm so much faster than the plumber guy.TheTelltaleChart said:

Years ago there was a guy at a Costa who used to shout Hedgehog across the shop whenever he saw me.
I've have had hairdressers complain my hair is too prickly like pins.

Out of curiosity, do your Scottish Widows app homepages show the account number?
I noticed on the advertising (see attached photo) they show the account number underneath the ‘Share Dealing’, but on mine it doesn’t.
I guess it probably doesn’t matter, but just wondering if mine hasn’t been set up properly.

Yes, mine's got the account no1

how did you even get to log into the app? I tried both my iweb username (not allowed as it wants email) and my registered mail isnt recognized. I was under the impression this is still to be implemented.0

I got an email a few days ago titled "Our Scottish Widows App is now available". There were instructions to select "Register" within the app and to follow the steps on screen. You'll need your 9-digit S&S account number but that's provided in the email - note that there were 2 different accounts numbers in the email I received. All working for me.Kaizen917 said:how did you even get to log into the app? I tried both my iweb username (not allowed as it wants email) and my registered mail isnt recognized. I find that the headline figure (total balance) on the home page is very different to the amount if I add my S&S ISA and my GIA together, the only two accounts I have with them, I would have thought however fast or slow the price update was that the two figures should tally.
Even something like Vanguard FTSE All Caps is still listing last Thursdays price within my GIA.
I would have thought the prices were updated quicker1 -
iWeb often (usually?) had out of date prices for open ended funds. With any platform, the only prices that you can rely on are the prices that are bid or offered before a trade. If you want up-to-date prices for open ended funds, refer to the fund manager's website and check the date of the valuation. I have the relevant bookmarks in a Firefox folder and use "open all in tabs" when I want to do a valuation.SloughSally said:I find that the headline figure (total balance) on the home page is very different to the amount if I add my S&S ISA and my GIA together, the only two accounts I have with them, I would have thought however fast or slow the price update was that the two figures should tally.

Thanks. Is the Share Dealing account the only account you have with them, or do you have others?deinoflex said:Yes, mine's got the account no
I wondered if you only have the Share Dealing account, it doesn't bother showing the account number on the home screen.0
