    Had no accounts with MBS. Dowloaded app and registered OK. Opened easy access account, then opened RS account within minutes. Haven't yet funded either. Had tried to open RS through website but thought I'd failed but yesterday (several days later) received email saying they had received my request to open the account online but because of demand it was taking 5 days to open accounts online but almost instant via app.

    I've opened and funded the RS but still can't get into the app to verify. It's been about a week now, get add far as the 2 factor page but there's no option to select...
    Any one else got this issue?

    I would try reinstalling the app. No idea whether it helps but it can’t get worse than it already is.

    YES.
    I could log in a few days ago but now have this problem on Android.
    Reinstall does not fix it.

    Yes exactly. Though have to mention that those resident in Northern Ireland aren't eligible but nearly everyone :smile:

    Just checking what you mean by that. From the Monmouthshire page it states Northern Ireland residents are excluded.

    Just checking what you mean by that. From the Monmouthshire page it states Northern Ireland residents are excluded. 

    Not all NI residents are excluded

    Well their app doesn't seem to allow people with hyphenated surnames to register - won't recognise the surname as legitimate with it, and doesn't recognise me as a customer without!

    I tried opening the Regular Saver via the MonBS app yesterday and hit a wall.

    After entering my Virgin Money account as the nominated bank account (NBA), I got the following message: "We were unable to verify your NBA details. Please contact the MonBS team to verify your NBA."

    Seriously— Everything I entered was correct. Has anyone else had this issue? Is this a glitch, or does MonBS not support Virgin accounts for verification?

    Would appreciate any insight before I waste more time trying to get through to support.

    It is almost certainly to do with the plethora of different systems VM are using. Not all, or may be even none, of the CoP checking systems cater for all the VM systems. You should be doing as advised and contact MonBS, or if you have a current account at another bank, use that one.
