Plus you get the afternoon 1 hour boost. That's my plan when my Eon Next 10p E7 night rate ends in late November.1

If you do switch to Octopus, don't forget to get a referral code from friends or family (we can't share them here). Every £50 helps!N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. Ripple Kirk Hill member.

During this present heatwave my afternoon snug cheap hour has remained. So I am hoping the cheap snug hour is permanent. As Scot_39 said poster "halffull" is like me on "snug" and if I remember correctly reading an old Rosie thread, I believe me, halffull and Rosie all have a EDMI ES-12B smart meter? From "halffull's" earlier thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6603270/metering-requirements-of-octopus-snug#latest he had some issues when switching to snug. However from his last post he did eventually switch to snug. I also had a few issues when first on snug that the Octopus smart metering team eventually fixed. So Rosie if you decide to switch to snug you may/may not get some glitches early on that will quickly get fixed.Rosie if you do switch to Octopus I would do the switch online and that way you can use somebody's referral code and then you will get a £50 credit switching to Octopus. As earlier mentioned, when switching you first have to go onto their variable tariff and only then you can switch to the snug tariff. So I would advise switching online, when doing that use somebody's referral code to make sure you get that £50 credit for switching to Octopus.
